ਤੂੰ ਘਟ ਘਟ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਸਰਬ ਨਿਰੰਤਰਿ ਜੀ ਹਰਿ ਏਕੋ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਸਮਾਣਾ ॥
Ṫooⁿ gʰat gʰat anṫar sarab niranṫar jee har éko purakʰ samaaṇaa.
Thou, O venerable and unique Lord God! art uniterruptedly contained in all the hearts and every thing.

ਇਕਿ ਦਾਤੇ ਇਕਿ ਭੇਖਾਰੀ ਜੀ ਸਭਿ ਤੇਰੇ ਚੋਜ ਵਿਡਾਣਾ ॥
Ik ḋaaṫé ik bʰékʰaaree jee sabʰ ṫéré choj vidaaṇaa.
Some are the givers and some the mumpers. All these are Thine worderous frolics.

ਤੂੰ ਆਪੇ ਦਾਤਾ ਆਪੇ ਭੁਗਤਾ ਜੀ ਹਉ ਤੁਧੁ ਬਿਨੁ ਅਵਰੁ ਨ ਜਾਣਾ ॥
Ṫooⁿ aapé ḋaaṫaa aapé bʰugṫaa jee ha▫o ṫuḋʰ bin avar na jaaṇaa.
Thou Thyself art the Giver and Thyself the Enjoyer. Beside Thee I know of none other.

ਤੂੰ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਬੇਅੰਤੁ ਬੇਅੰਤੁ ਜੀ ਤੇਰੇ ਕਿਆ ਗੁਣ ਆਖਿ ਵਖਾਣਾ ॥
Ṫooⁿ paarbarahm bé▫anṫ bé▫anṫ jee ṫéré ki▫aa guṇ aakʰ vakʰaaṇaa.
Thou art the infinite and limitless supreme Lord, What excellences of Thine should I narrate and recount?

ਜੋ ਸੇਵਹਿ ਜੋ ਸੇਵਹਿ ਤੁਧੁ ਜੀ ਜਨੁ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਤਿਨ ਕੁਰਬਾਣਾ ॥੨॥
Jo sévėh jo sévėh ṫuḋʰ jee jan Naanak ṫin kurbaaṇaa. ||2||
Serf Nanak is a sacrifice unto those who serve, who serve Thee, O sire Lord!

ਹਰਿ ਧਿਆਵਹਿ ਹਰਿ ਧਿਆਵਹਿ ਤੁਧੁ ਜੀ ਸੇ ਜਨ ਜੁਗ ਮਹਿ ਸੁਖਵਾਸੀ ॥
Har ḋʰi▫aavahi har ḋʰi▫aavahi ṫuḋʰ jee sé jan jug mėh sukʰvaasee.
Who deliberate and ponder over Thee, O Sire Lord! those persons abide in peace in this world.

ਸੇ ਮੁਕਤੁ ਸੇ ਮੁਕਤੁ ਭਏ ਜਿਨ ਹਰਿ ਧਿਆਇਆ ਜੀ ਤਿਨ ਤੂਟੀ ਜਮ ਕੀ ਫਾਸੀ ॥
Sé mukaṫ sé mukaṫ bʰa▫é jin har ḋʰi▫aa▫i▫aa jee ṫin ṫootee jam kee faasee.
Emancipated and liberated are they who remember Thee, O Sire God, Their death’s noose is cut.

ਜਿਨ ਨਿਰਭਉ ਜਿਨ ਹਰਿ ਨਿਰਭਉ ਧਿਆਇਆ ਜੀ ਤਿਨ ਕਾ ਭਉ ਸਭੁ ਗਵਾਸੀ ॥
Jin nirbʰa▫o jin har nirbʰa▫o ḋʰi▫aa▫i▫aa jee ṫin kaa bʰa▫o sabʰ gavaasee.
They who meditate on the Fearless, the Fearless Lord; their fear is all shaken off.

ਜਿਨ ਸੇਵਿਆ ਜਿਨ ਸੇਵਿਆ ਮੇਰਾ ਹਰਿ ਜੀ ਤੇ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਰੂਪਿ ਸਮਾਸੀ ॥
Jin sévi▫aa jin sévi▫aa méraa har jee ṫé har har roop samaasee.
They who have served, they who have served my Sire God; they are absorbed in the personality of Lord God.

ਸੇ ਧੰਨੁ ਸੇ ਧੰਨੁ ਜਿਨ ਹਰਿ ਧਿਆਇਆ ਜੀ ਜਨੁ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਤਿਨ ਬਲਿ ਜਾਸੀ ॥੩॥
Sé ḋʰan sé ḋʰan jin har ḋʰi▫aa▫i▫aa jee jan Naanak ṫin bal jaasee. ||3||
Blest are they, blest are they, who have meditated on Sire God. Serf Nanak is devoted unto then.

ਤੇਰੀ ਭਗਤਿ ਤੇਰੀ ਭਗਤਿ ਭੰਡਾਰ ਜੀ ਭਰੇ ਬਿਅੰਤ ਬੇਅੰਤਾ ॥
Ṫéree bʰagaṫ ṫéree bʰagaṫ bʰandaar jee bʰaré bi▫anṫ bé▫anṫaa.
Infinite and innumerable treasures of Thine meditation, Thine meditation, ever remain brimful.

ਤੇਰੇ ਭਗਤ ਤੇਰੇ ਭਗਤ ਸਲਾਹਨਿ ਤੁਧੁ ਜੀ ਹਰਿ ਅਨਿਕ ਅਨੇਕ ਅਨੰਤਾ ॥
Ṫéré bʰagaṫ ṫéré bʰagaṫ salaahan ṫuḋʰ jee har anik anék ananṫaa.
In many and various ways, the numberless saint of Thine, saints of Thine, O God! praise Thee.

ਤੇਰੀ ਅਨਿਕ ਤੇਰੀ ਅਨਿਕ ਕਰਹਿ ਹਰਿ ਪੂਜਾ ਜੀ ਤਪੁ ਤਾਪਹਿ ਜਪਹਿ ਬੇਅੰਤਾ ॥
Ṫéree anik ṫéree anik karahi har poojaa jee ṫap ṫaapėh jaapėh bé▫anṫaa.
Good many and servant perform Thy, (O Sire) Thy worship, O Endless God! They practise penances and repeat Thy Name.

ਤੇਰੇ ਅਨੇਕ ਤੇਰੇ ਅਨੇਕ ਪੜਹਿ ਬਹੁ ਸਿਮ੍ਰਿਤਿ ਸਾਸਤ ਜੀ ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਿਆ ਖਟੁ ਕਰਮ ਕਰੰਤਾ ॥
Ṫéré anék ṫéré anék paṛėh baho simriṫ saasaṫ jee kar kiri▫aa kʰat karam karanṫaa.
Many and various men of Thine read many Simirtis and Shashtras. They accomplish rituals and perform six religious rites.

ਸੇ ਭਗਤ ਸੇ ਭਗਤ ਭਲੇ ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਜੀ ਜੋ ਭਾਵਹਿ ਮੇਰੇ ਹਰਿ ਭਗਵੰਤਾ ॥੪॥
Sé bʰagaṫ sé bʰagaṫ bʰalé jan Naanak jee jo bʰaavėh méré har bʰagvanṫaa. ||4||
Sublime are those saints, thou saints, O Serf Nanak! Who are pleasing to my auspicious Master.

ਤੂੰ ਆਦਿ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਅਪਰੰਪਰੁ ਕਰਤਾ ਜੀ ਤੁਧੁ ਜੇਵਡੁ ਅਵਰੁ ਨ ਕੋਈ ॥
Ṫooⁿ aaḋ purakʰ aprampar karṫaa jee ṫuḋʰ jévad avar na ko▫ee.
Thou are the primal Being, the most excellent Creator. None else is as great as Thee.

ਤੂੰ ਜੁਗੁ ਜੁਗੁ ਏਕੋ ਸਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਤੂੰ ਏਕੋ ਜੀ ਤੂੰ ਨਿਹਚਲੁ ਕਰਤਾ ਸੋਈ ॥
Ṫooⁿ jug jug éko saḋaa saḋaa ṫooⁿ éko jee ṫooⁿ nihchal karṫaa so▫ee.
From age to age Thou art one and the same, aye and ever, and Thou art identically the same. Such an ever stable Creator Thou art.

ਤੁਧੁ ਆਪੇ ਭਾਵੈ ਸੋਈ ਵਰਤੈ ਜੀ ਤੂੰ ਆਪੇ ਕਰਹਿ ਸੁ ਹੋਈ ॥
Ṫuḋʰ aapé bʰaavæ so▫ee varṫæ jee ṫooⁿ aapé karahi so ho▫ee.
Whatever Thou Thyself likest, that comes to pass. What Thyself Thou actest, that gets accomplished.

ਤੁਧੁ ਆਪੇ ਸ੍ਰਿਸਟਿ ਸਭ ਉਪਾਈ ਜੀ ਤੁਧੁ ਆਪੇ ਸਿਰਜਿ ਸਭ ਗੋਈ ॥
Ṫuḋʰ aapé sarisat sabʰ upaa▫ee jee ṫuḋʰ aapé siraj sabʰ go▫ee.
Thou Thyself created the whole universe and having fashioned Thou Thyself shall destroy it all.

ਜਨੁ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵੈ ਕਰਤੇ ਕੇ ਜੀ ਜੋ ਸਭਸੈ ਕਾ ਜਾਣੋਈ ॥੫॥੧॥
Jan Naanak guṇ gaavæ karṫé ké jee jo sabʰsæ kaa jaaṇo▫ee. ||5||1||
Slave Nanak sings the praises of the Sire Creator, who is the knower of one and all.

Asa Measure, Fourth Guru.
|
ਤੂੰ ਕਰਤਾ ਸਚਿਆਰੁ ਮੈਡਾ ਸਾਂਈ ॥
Ṫooⁿ karṫaa sachiaar mædaa saaⁿ▫ee.
O God! Thou art the true creator, my Master,
|
ਜੋ ਤਉ ਭਾਵੈ ਸੋਈ ਥੀਸੀ ਜੋ ਤੂੰ ਦੇਹਿ ਸੋਈ ਹਉ ਪਾਈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Jo ṫa▫o bʰaavæ so▫ee ṫʰeesee jo ṫooⁿ ḋėh so▫ee ha▫o paa▫ee. ||1|| rahaa▫o.
That alone happens what pleaseth Thee. I receive that what Thou givest me. Pause.
|
ਸਭ ਤੇਰੀ ਤੂੰ ਸਭਨੀ ਧਿਆਇਆ ॥
Sabʰ ṫéree ṫooⁿ sabʰnee ḋʰi▫aa▫i▫aa.
All are thine and all meditate on Thee.
|
ਜਿਸ ਨੋ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕਰਹਿ ਤਿਨਿ ਨਾਮ ਰਤਨੁ ਪਾਇਆ ॥
Jis no kirpaa karahi ṫin naam raṫan paa▫i▫aa.
He, unto whom Thou showest mercy, obtains the jewel of Thy Name.

ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਲਾਧਾ ਮਨਮੁਖਿ ਗਵਾਇਆ ॥
Gurmukʰ laaḋʰaa manmukʰ gavaa▫i▫aa.
The pious persons obtain the Name and the self-willed lose it.
|
ਤੁਧੁ ਆਪਿ ਵਿਛੋੜਿਆ ਆਪਿ ਮਿਲਾਇਆ ॥੧॥
Ṫuḋʰ aap vichʰoṛi▫aa aap milaa▫i▫aa. ||1||
Thou Thyself separatest the mortals and Thyself unitest them.
|
ਤੂੰ ਦਰੀਆਉ ਸਭ ਤੁਝ ਹੀ ਮਾਹਿ ॥
Ṫooⁿ ḋaree▫aa▫o sabʰ ṫujʰ hee maahi.
Thou art the river and all are with in Thee.
|
ਤੁਝ ਬਿਨੁ ਦੂਜਾ ਕੋਈ ਨਾਹਿ ॥
Ṫujʰ bin ḋoojaa ko▫ee naahi.
Beside Thee, there is no one else.
|
ਜੀਅ ਜੰਤ ਸਭਿ ਤੇਰਾ ਖੇਲੁ ॥
Jee▫a janṫ sabʰ ṫéraa kʰél.
All the sentient-beings are Thine play things
|
ਵਿਜੋਗਿ ਮਿਲਿ ਵਿਛੁੜਿਆ ਸੰਜੋਗੀ ਮੇਲੁ ॥੨॥
vijog mil vichʰuṛi▫aa sanjogee mél. ||2||
The separated meet, but it is through good luck that the union of the separated is accomplished.
|
ਜਿਸ ਨੋ ਤੂ ਜਾਣਾਇਹਿ ਸੋਈ ਜਨੁ ਜਾਣੈ ॥
Jis no ṫoo jaaṇaa▫ihi so▫ee jan jaaṇæ.
The man, whom thou causeth to understand, understands Thee,
|
ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਸਦ ਹੀ ਆਖਿ ਵਖਾਣੈ ॥
Har guṇ saḋ hee aakʰ vakʰaaṇæ.
and he ever utters are repeats Thine praises.
|
ਜਿਨਿ ਹਰਿ ਸੇਵਿਆ ਤਿਨਿ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਇਆ ॥
Jin har sévi▫aa ṫin sukʰ paa▫i▫aa.
He, who has served Thee, has obtained peace.
|
ਸਹਜੇ ਹੀ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮਿ ਸਮਾਇਆ ॥੩॥
Sėhjé hee har naam samaa▫i▫aa. ||3||
He easily gets absorbed in Thy Name.2
