ਮਾਰੂ ਤੇ ਸੀਤਲੁ ਕਰੇ ਮਨੂਰਹੁ ਕੰਚਨੁ ਹੋਇ ॥ मारू ते सीतलु करे मनूरहु कंचनु होइ ॥ Mārū ṯe sīṯal kare manūrahu kancẖan ho▫e. He transforms the burning desert into a cool oasis; he transmutes rusted iron into gold. ਮਾਰੂ ਮਹਲਾ ੩ ॥ मारू महला ३ ॥ Mārū mėhlā 3. Maaroo, Third Mehl: ਸੋ ਸਾਚਾ ਸਾਲਾਹੀਐ ਤਿਸੁ ਜੇਵਡੁ ਅਵਰੁ ਨ ਕੋਇ ॥੧॥ सो साचा सालाहीऐ तिसु जेवडु अवरु न कोइ ॥१॥ So sācẖā salāhī▫ai ṯis jevad avar na ko▫e. ||1|| So praise the True Lord; there is none other as great as He is. ||1|| ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਧਿਆਇ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਉ ॥ मेरे मन अनदिनु धिआइ हरि नाउ ॥ Mere man an▫ḏin ḏẖi▫ā▫e har nā▫o. O my mind, night and day, meditate on the Lord's Name. ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਕੈ ਬਚਨਿ ਅਰਾਧਿ ਤੂ ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਉ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ सतिगुर कै बचनि अराधि तू अनदिनु गुण गाउ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Saṯgur kai bacẖan arāḏẖ ṯū an▫ḏin guṇ gā▫o. ||1|| rahā▫o. Contemplate the Word of the Guru's Teachings, and sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord, night and day. ||1||Pause|| ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਏਕੋ ਜਾਣੀਐ ਜਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਦੇਇ ਬੁਝਾਇ ॥ गुरमुखि एको जाणीऐ जा सतिगुरु देइ बुझाइ ॥ Gurmukẖ eko jāṇī▫ai jā saṯgur ḏe▫e bujẖā▫e. As Gurmukh, one comes to know the One Lord, when the True Guru instructs him. ਸੋ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਸਾਲਾਹੀਐ ਜਿਦੂ ਏਹ ਸੋਝੀ ਪਾਇ ॥੨॥ सो सतिगुरु सालाहीऐ जिदू एह सोझी पाइ ॥२॥ So saṯgur salāhī▫ai jiḏū eh sojẖī pā▫e. ||2|| Praise the True Guru, who imparts this understanding. ||2|| ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਛੋਡਿ ਦੂਜੈ ਲਗੇ ਕਿਆ ਕਰਨਿ ਅਗੈ ਜਾਇ ॥ सतिगुरु छोडि दूजै लगे किआ करनि अगै जाइ ॥ Saṯgur cẖẖod ḏūjai lage ki▫ā karan agai jā▫e. Those who forsake the True Guru, and attach themselves to duality - what will they do when they go to the world hereafter? ਜਮ ਪੁਰਿ ਬਧੇ ਮਾਰੀਅਹਿ ਬਹੁਤੀ ਮਿਲੈ ਸਜਾਇ ॥੩॥ जम पुरि बधे मारीअहि बहुती मिलै सजाइ ॥३॥ Jam pur baḏẖe mārī▫ah bahuṯī milai sajā▫e. ||3|| Bound and gagged in the City of Death, they will be beaten. They will be punished severely. ||3|| ਮੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਵੇਪਰਵਾਹੁ ਹੈ ਨਾ ਤਿਸੁ ਤਿਲੁ ਨ ਤਮਾਇ ॥ मेरा प्रभु वेपरवाहु है ना तिसु तिलु न तमाइ ॥ Merā parabẖ veparvāhu hai nā ṯis ṯil na ṯamā▫e. My God is independent and self-sufficient; he does not have even an iota of greed. ਨਾਨਕ ਤਿਸੁ ਸਰਣਾਈ ਭਜਿ ਪਉ ਆਪੇ ਬਖਸਿ ਮਿਲਾਇ ॥੪॥੫॥ नानक तिसु सरणाई भजि पउ आपे बखसि मिलाइ ॥४॥५॥ Nānak ṯis sarṇā▫ī bẖaj pa▫o āpe bakẖas milā▫e. ||4||5|| O Nanak, run to His Sanctuary; granting His forgiveness, He merges us into Himself. ||4||5|| ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥ ੴ सतिगुर प्रसादि ॥ Ik▫oaʼnkār saṯgur parsāḏ.
