ਸਚਿ ਰਤੇ ਸੇ ਟੋਲਿ ਲਹੁ ਸੇ ਵਿਰਲੇ ਸੰਸਾਰਿ ॥ सचि रते से टोलि लहु से विरले संसारि ॥ Sach raṫé sé tol lahu sé virlé sansaar. Seek and find those who are imbued with Truth; they are so rare in this world. ਮਾਰੂ ਮਹਲਾ ੩ ॥ मारू महला ३ ॥ Maaroo mėhlaa 3. Maaroo, Third Mehl: ਤਿਨ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਮੁਖੁ ਉਜਲਾ ਜਪਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਮੁਰਾਰਿ ॥੧॥ तिन मिलिआ मुखु उजला जपि नामु मुरारि ॥१॥ Ṫin mili▫aa mukʰ ujlaa jap naam muraar. ||1|| Meeting with them, one’s face becomes radiant and bright, chanting the Name of the Lord. ||1|| ਬਾਬਾ ਸਾਚਾ ਸਾਹਿਬੁ ਰਿਦੈ ਸਮਾਲਿ ॥ बाबा साचा साहिबु रिदै समालि ॥ Baabaa saachaa saahib riḋæ samaal. O Baba, contemplate and cherish the True Lord and Master within your heart. ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਅਪਨਾ ਪੁਛਿ ਦੇਖੁ ਲੇਹੁ ਵਖਰੁ ਭਾਲਿ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ सतिगुरु अपना पुछि देखु लेहु वखरु भालि ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Saṫgur apnaa puchʰ ḋékʰ lého vakʰar bʰaal. ||1|| rahaa▫o. Seek out and see, and ask your True Guru, and obtain the true commodity. ||1||Pause|| ਇਕੁ ਸਚਾ ਸਭ ਸੇਵਦੀ ਧੁਰਿ ਭਾਗਿ ਮਿਲਾਵਾ ਹੋਇ ॥ इकु सचा सभ सेवदी धुरि भागि मिलावा होइ ॥ Ik sachaa sabʰ sévḋee ḋʰur bʰaag milaavaa ho▫é. All serve the One True Lord; through preordained destiny, they meet Him. ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਮਿਲੇ ਸੇ ਨ ਵਿਛੁੜਹਿ ਪਾਵਹਿ ਸਚੁ ਸੋਇ ॥੨॥ गुरमुखि मिले से न विछुड़हि पावहि सचु सोइ ॥२॥ Gurmukʰ milé sé na vichʰuṛėh paavahi sach so▫é. ||2|| The Gurmukhs merge with Him, and will not be separated from Him again; they attain the True Lord. ||2|| ਇਕਿ ਭਗਤੀ ਸਾਰ ਨ ਜਾਣਨੀ ਮਨਮੁਖ ਭਰਮਿ ਭੁਲਾਇ ॥ इकि भगती सार न जाणनी मनमुख भरमि भुलाइ ॥ Ik bʰagṫee saar na jaaṇnee manmukʰ bʰaram bʰulaa▫é. Some do not appreciate the value of devotional worship; the self-willed Manmukhs are deluded by doubt. ਓਨਾ ਵਿਚਿ ਆਪਿ ਵਰਤਦਾ ਕਰਣਾ ਕਿਛੂ ਨ ਜਾਇ ॥੩॥ ओना विचि आपि वरतदा करणा किछू न जाइ ॥३॥ Onaa vich aap varaṫḋaa karṇaa kichʰoo na jaa▫é. ||3|| They are filled with self-conceit; they cannot accomplish anything. ||3|| ਜਿਸੁ ਨਾਲਿ ਜੋਰੁ ਨ ਚਲਈ ਖਲੇ ਕੀਚੈ ਅਰਦਾਸਿ ॥ जिसु नालि जोरु न चलई खले कीचै अरदासि ॥ Jis naal jor na chal▫ee kʰalé keechæ arḋaas. Stand and offer your prayer, to the One who cannot be moved by force. ਨਾਨਕ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਮਨਿ ਵਸੈ ਤਾ ਸੁਣਿ ਕਰੇ ਸਾਬਾਸਿ ॥੪॥੪॥ नानक गुरमुखि नामु मनि वसै ता सुणि करे साबासि ॥४॥४॥ Naanak gurmukʰ naam man vasæ ṫaa suṇ karé saabaas. ||4||4|| O Nanak! The Naam, the Name of the Lord, abides within the mind of the Gurmukh; hearing his prayer, the Lord applauds him. ||4||4||
