ਰਾਗੁ ਮਾਲੀ ਗਉੜਾ ਮਹਲਾ ੪ रागु माली गउड़ा महला ४ Rāg mālī ga▫uṛā mėhlā 4 Raag Maalee Gauraa, Fourth Mehl: ੴ ਸਤਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਕਰਤਾ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਨਿਰਭਉ ਨਿਰਵੈਰੁ ਅਕਾਲ ਮੂਰਤਿ ਅਜੂਨੀ ਸੈਭੰ ਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥ ੴ सति नामु करता पुरखु निरभउ निरवैरु अकाल मूरति अजूनी सैभं गुर प्रसादि ॥ Ik▫oaʼnkār saṯ nām karṯā purakẖ nirbẖa▫o nirvair akāl mūraṯ ajūnī saibẖaʼn gur parsāḏ. One Universal Creator God. Truth Is The Name. Creative Being Personified. No Fear. No Hatred. Image Of The Undying. Beyond Birth. Self-Existent. By Guru's Grace: ਹਰਿ ਅਗਮ ਅਗਮ ਅਗਾਧਿ ਬੋਧਿ ਆਦੇਸੁ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਰਾਇਆ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ हरि अगम अगम अगाधि बोधि आदेसु हरि प्रभ राइआ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Har agam agam agāḏẖ boḏẖ āḏes har parabẖ rā▫i▫ā. ||1|| rahā▫o. The Lord is inaccessible, unapproachable and unfathomable; I humbly bow to the Lord God, my King. ||1||Pause|| ਅਨਿਕ ਜਤਨ ਕਰਿ ਰਹੇ ਹਰਿ ਅੰਤੁ ਨਾਹੀ ਪਾਇਆ ॥ अनिक जतन करि रहे हरि अंतु नाही पाइआ ॥ Anik jaṯan kar rahe har anṯ nāhī pā▫i▫ā. Countless have tried, but none have found the Lord's limit. ਕਾਮੁ ਕ੍ਰੋਧੁ ਲੋਭੁ ਮੋਹੁ ਨਿਤ ਝਗਰਤੇ ਝਗਰਾਇਆ ॥ कामु क्रोधु लोभु मोहु नित झगरते झगराइआ ॥ Kām kroḏẖ lobẖ moh niṯ jẖagraṯe jẖagrā▫i▫ā. Sexual desire, anger, greed and emotional attachment bring continual conflict and strife. ਹਮ ਰਾਖੁ ਰਾਖੁ ਦੀਨ ਤੇਰੇ ਹਰਿ ਸਰਨਿ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਆਇਆ ॥੧॥ हम राखु राखु दीन तेरे हरि सरनि हरि प्रभ आइआ ॥१॥ Ham rākẖ rākẖ ḏīn ṯere har saran har parabẖ ā▫i▫ā. ||1|| Save me, save me, I am your humble creature, O Lord; I have come to Your Sanctuary, O my Lord God. ||1|| ਸਰਣਾਗਤੀ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਪਾਲਤੇ ਹਰਿ ਭਗਤਿ ਵਛਲੁ ਨਾਇਆ ॥ सरणागती प्रभ पालते हरि भगति वछलु नाइआ ॥ Sarṇāgaṯī parabẖ pālṯe har bẖagaṯ vacẖẖal nā▫i▫ā. You protect and preserve those who take to Your Sanctuary, God; You are called the Lover of Your devotees. ਪ੍ਰਹਿਲਾਦੁ ਜਨੁ ਹਰਨਾਖਿ ਪਕਰਿਆ ਹਰਿ ਰਾਖਿ ਲੀਓ ਤਰਾਇਆ ॥੨॥ प्रहिलादु जनु हरनाखि पकरिआ हरि राखि लीओ तराइआ ॥२॥ Par▫hilāḏ jan harnākẖ pakri▫ā har rākẖ lī▫o ṯarā▫i▫ā. ||2|| Prahlaad, Your humble servant, was caught by Harnaakhash; but You saved Him and carried him across, Lord. ||2|| ਹਰਿ ਚੇਤਿ ਰੇ ਮਨ ਮਹਲੁ ਪਾਵਣ ਸਭ ਦੂਖ ਭੰਜਨੁ ਰਾਇਆ ॥ हरि चेति रे मन महलु पावण सभ दूख भंजनु राइआ ॥ Har cẖeṯ re man mahal pāvaṇ sabẖ ḏūkẖ bẖanjan rā▫i▫ā. Remember the Lord, O mind, and rise up to the Mansion of His Presence; the Sovereign Lord is the Destroyer of pain. ਭਉ ਜਨਮ ਮਰਨ ਨਿਵਾਰਿ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਰਮਤੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਪਾਇਆ ॥੩॥ भउ जनम मरन निवारि ठाकुर हरि गुरमती प्रभु पाइआ ॥३॥ Bẖa▫o janam maran nivār ṯẖākur har gurmaṯī parabẖ pā▫i▫ā. ||3|| Our Lord and Master takes away the fear of birth and death; following the Guru's Teachings, the Lord God is found. ||3|| ਹਰਿ ਪਤਿਤ ਪਾਵਨ ਨਾਮੁ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਭਉ ਭਗਤ ਭੰਜਨੁ ਗਾਇਆ ॥ हरि पतित पावन नामु सुआमी भउ भगत भंजनु गाइआ ॥ Har paṯiṯ pāvan nām su▫āmī bẖa▫o bẖagaṯ bẖanjan gā▫i▫ā. The Name of the Lord, our Lord and Master, is the Purifier of sinners; I sing of the Lord, the Destroyer of the fears of His devotees. ਹਰਿ ਹਾਰੁ ਹਰਿ ਉਰਿ ਧਾਰਿਓ ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮਿ ਸਮਾਇਆ ॥੪॥੧॥ हरि हारु हरि उरि धारिओ जन नानक नामि समाइआ ॥४॥१॥ Har hār har ur ḏẖāri▫o jan Nānak nām samā▫i▫ā. ||4||1|| One who wears the necklace of the Name of the Lord, Har, Har, in his heart, O servant Nanak, merges in the Naam. ||4||1||
