ਨਟ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ नट महला ५ ॥ Nat mėhlā 5. Nat, Fifth Mehl: ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਜਪੁ ਜਪਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਰਾਇਣ ॥ मेरे मन जपु जपि हरि नाराइण ॥ Mere man jap jap har nārā▫iṇ. O my mind, chant, and meditate on the Lord. ਕਬਹੂ ਨ ਬਿਸਰਹੁ ਮਨ ਮੇਰੇ ਤੇ ਆਠ ਪਹਰ ਗੁਨ ਗਾਇਣ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ कबहू न बिसरहु मन मेरे ते आठ पहर गुन गाइण ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Kabhū na bisrahu man mere ṯe āṯẖ pahar gun gā▫iṇ. ||1|| rahā▫o. I shall never forget Him from my mind; twenty-four hours a day, I sing His Glorious Praises. ||1||Pause|| ਸਾਧੂ ਧੂਰਿ ਕਰਉ ਨਿਤ ਮਜਨੁ ਸਭ ਕਿਲਬਿਖ ਪਾਪ ਗਵਾਇਣ ॥ साधू धूरि करउ नित मजनु सभ किलबिख पाप गवाइण ॥ Sāḏẖū ḏẖūr kara▫o niṯ majan sabẖ kilbikẖ pāp gavā▫iṇ. I take my daily cleansing bath in the dust of the feet of the Holy, and I am rid of all my sins. ਪੂਰਨ ਪੂਰਿ ਰਹੇ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਿਧਿ ਘਟਿ ਘਟਿ ਦਿਸਟਿ ਸਮਾਇਣੁ ॥੧॥ पूरन पूरि रहे किरपा निधि घटि घटि दिसटि समाइणु ॥१॥ Pūran pūr rahe kirpā niḏẖ gẖat gẖat ḏisat samā▫iṇ. ||1|| The Lord, the ocean of mercy, is all-pervading, permeating everywhere; He is seen to be contained in each and every heart. ||1|| ਜਾਪ ਤਾਪ ਕੋਟਿ ਲਖ ਪੂਜਾ ਹਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਣ ਤੁਲਿ ਨ ਲਾਇਣ ॥ जाप ताप कोटि लख पूजा हरि सिमरण तुलि न लाइण ॥ Jāp ṯāp kot lakẖ pūjā har simraṇ ṯul na lā▫iṇ. Hundreds of thousands and millions of meditations, austerities and worships are not equal to remembering the Lord in meditation. ਦੁਇ ਕਰ ਜੋੜਿ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਦਾਨੁ ਮਾਂਗੈ ਤੇਰੇ ਦਾਸਨਿ ਦਾਸ ਦਸਾਇਣੁ ॥੨॥੬॥੭॥ दुइ कर जोड़ि नानकु दानु मांगै तेरे दासनि दास दसाइणु ॥२॥६॥७॥ Ḏu▫e kar joṛ Nānak ḏān māʼngai ṯere ḏāsan ḏās ḏasā▫iṇ. ||2||6||7|| With his palms pressed together, Nanak begs for this blessing, that he may become the slave of the slaves of Your slaves. ||2||6||7||
