By The Grace Of The True Guru: ਕਬੀਰ ਜੀਉ कबीर जीउ Kabeer jee▫o Kabir Jee: ਕਾਇਆ ਕਲਾਲਨਿ ਲਾਹਨਿ ਮੇਲਉ ਗੁਰ ਕਾ ਸਬਦੁ ਗੁੜੁ ਕੀਨੁ ਰੇ ॥ काइआ कलालनि लाहनि मेलउ गुर का सबदु गुड़ु कीनु रे ॥ Kaa▫i▫aa kalaalan laahan méla▫o gur kaa sabaḋ guṛ keen ré. Make your body the vat, and mix in the yeast. Let the Word of the Guru’s Shabad be the molasses. ਤ੍ਰਿਸਨਾ ਕਾਮੁ ਕ੍ਰੋਧੁ ਮਦ ਮਤਸਰ ਕਾਟਿ ਕਾਟਿ ਕਸੁ ਦੀਨੁ ਰੇ ॥੧॥ त्रिसना कामु क्रोधु मद मतसर काटि काटि कसु दीनु रे ॥१॥ Ṫarisnaa kaam kroḋʰ maḋ maṫsar kaat kaat kas ḋeen ré. ||1|| Cut up desire, sexuality, anger, pride and envy, and let them be the fermenting bark. ||1|| ਕੋਈ ਹੈ ਰੇ ਸੰਤੁ ਸਹਜ ਸੁਖ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਜਾ ਕਉ ਜਪੁ ਤਪੁ ਦੇਉ ਦਲਾਲੀ ਰੇ ॥ कोई है रे संतु सहज सुख अंतरि जा कउ जपु तपु देउ दलाली रे ॥ Ko▫ee hæ ré sanṫ sahj sukʰ anṫar jaa ka▫o jap ṫap ḋé▫o ḋalaalee ré. Is there any Saint, with intuitive peace and poise deep within, unto whom I might offer my meditation and austerities as payment? ਏਕ ਬੂੰਦ ਭਰਿ ਤਨੁ ਮਨੁ ਦੇਵਉ ਜੋ ਮਦੁ ਦੇਇ ਕਲਾਲੀ ਰੇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ एक बूंद भरि तनु मनु देवउ जो मदु देइ कलाली रे ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Ék boonḋ bʰar ṫan man ḋéva▫o jo maḋ ḋé▫é kalaalee ré. ||1|| rahaa▫o. I dedicate my body and mind to whoever gives me even a drop of this wine from such a vat. ||1||Pause|| ਭਵਨ ਚਤੁਰ ਦਸ ਭਾਠੀ ਕੀਨੑੀ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਅਗਨਿ ਤਨਿ ਜਾਰੀ ਰੇ ॥ भवन चतुर दस भाठी कीन्ही ब्रहम अगनि तनि जारी रे ॥ Bʰavan chaṫur ḋas bʰaatʰee keenĥee barahm agan ṫan jaaree ré. I have made the fourteen worlds the furnace, and I have burnt my body with the fire of God. ਮੁਦ੍ਰਾ ਮਦਕ ਸਹਜ ਧੁਨਿ ਲਾਗੀ ਸੁਖਮਨ ਪੋਚਨਹਾਰੀ ਰੇ ॥੨॥ मुद्रा मदक सहज धुनि लागी सुखमन पोचनहारी रे ॥२॥ Muḋraa maḋak sahj ḋʰun laagee sukʰman pochanhaaree ré. ||2|| My mudra - my hand-gesture, is the pipe; tuning into the celestial sound current within, the Shushmanaa - the central spinal channel, is my cooling pad. ||2|| ਤੀਰਥ ਬਰਤ ਨੇਮ ਸੁਚਿ ਸੰਜਮ ਰਵਿ ਸਸਿ ਗਹਨੈ ਦੇਉ ਰੇ ॥ तीरथ बरत नेम सुचि संजम रवि ससि गहनै देउ रे ॥ Ṫiraṫʰ baraṫ ném such sanjam rav sas gahnæ ḋé▫o ré. Pilgrimages, fasting, vows, purifications, self-discipline, austerities and breath control through the sun and moon channels - all these I pledge. ਨਿਝਰ ਧਾਰ ਚੁਐ ਅਤਿ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਇਹ ਰਸ ਮਨੂਆ ਰਾਤੋ ਰੇ ॥ निझर धार चुऐ अति निरमल इह रस मनूआ रातो रे ॥ Nijʰar ḋʰaar chu▫æ aṫ nirmal ih ras manoo▫aa raaṫo ré. The pure stream constantly trickles forth, and my mind is intoxicated by this sublime essence. ਸੁਰਤਿ ਪਿਆਲ ਸੁਧਾ ਰਸੁ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਏਹੁ ਮਹਾ ਰਸੁ ਪੇਉ ਰੇ ॥੩॥ सुरति पिआल सुधा रसु अमृतु एहु महा रसु पेउ रे ॥३॥ Suraṫ pi▫aal suḋʰaa ras amriṫ éhu mahaa ras pé▫o ré. ||3|| My focused consciousness is the cup, and the Ambrosial Nectar is the pure juice. I drink the supreme, sublime essence of this juice. ||3|| ਕਹਿ ਕਬੀਰ ਸਗਲੇ ਮਦ ਛੂਛੇ ਇਹੈ ਮਹਾ ਰਸੁ ਸਾਚੋ ਰੇ ॥੪॥੧॥ कहि कबीर सगले मद छूछे इहै महा रसु साचो रे ॥४॥१॥ Kahi Kabeer saglé maḋ chʰoochʰé ihæ mahaa ras saacho ré. ||4||1|| Says Kabir, all other wines are trivial and tasteless; this is the only true, sublime essence. ||4||1||
