ਆਪੇ ਆਪਿ ਵਰਤਦਾ ਆਪਿ ਤਾੜੀ ਲਾਈਅਨੁ ॥ आपे आपि वरतदा आपि ताड़ी लाईअनु ॥ Aapé aap varaṫḋaa aap ṫaaṛee laa▫ee▫an. He Himself is all-pervading; He Himself is absorbed in the profound state of Samadhi. ਪਉੜੀ ॥ पउड़ी ॥ Pa▫oṛee. Pauree: ਆਪੇ ਹੀ ਉਪਦੇਸਦਾ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਪਤੀਆਈਅਨੁ ॥ आपे ही उपदेसदा गुरमुखि पतीआईअनु ॥ Aapé hee upḋésḋaa gurmukʰ paṫee▫aa▫ee▫an. He Himself instructs; the Gurmukh is satisfied and fulfilled. ਇਕਿ ਆਪੇ ਉਝੜਿ ਪਾਇਅਨੁ ਇਕਿ ਭਗਤੀ ਲਾਇਅਨੁ ॥ इकि आपे उझड़ि पाइअनु इकि भगती लाइअनु ॥ Ik aapé ujʰaṛ paa▫i▫an ik bʰagṫee laa▫i▫an. To some, He causes to wander in the wilderness, while others are committed to His devotional worship. ਜਿਸੁ ਆਪਿ ਬੁਝਾਏ ਸੋ ਬੁਝਸੀ ਆਪੇ ਨਾਇ ਲਾਈਅਨੁ ॥ जिसु आपि बुझाए सो बुझसी आपे नाइ लाईअनु ॥ Jis aap bujʰaa▫é so bujʰsee aapé naa▫é laa▫ee▫an. He alone understands whom the Lord causes to understand; He Himself attaches mortals to His Name. ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਈਐ ਸਚੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ॥੨੧॥੧॥ ਸੁਧੁ ॥ नानक नामु धिआईऐ सची वडिआई ॥२१॥१॥ सुधु ॥ Naanak naam ḋʰi▫aa▫ee▫æ sachee vadi▫aa▫ee. ||21||1|| suḋʰ.
