ਸਲੋਕ ਮਃ ੨ ॥ सलोक मः २ ॥ Salok mėhlā 2. Shalok, Second Mehl: ਨਾਨਕ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਮਤਿ ਕਰਹੁ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਤਿਸ ਹੀ ਹੇਇ ॥ नानक चिंता मति करहु चिंता तिस ही हेइ ॥ Nānak cẖinṯā maṯ karahu cẖinṯā ṯis hī he▫e. O Nanak, don't be anxious; the Lord will take care of you. ਓਥੈ ਹਟੁ ਨ ਚਲਈ ਨਾ ਕੋ ਕਿਰਸ ਕਰੇਇ ॥ ओथै हटु न चलई ना को किरस करेइ ॥ Othai hat na cẖal▫ī nā ko kiras kare▫i. There are no stores open there, and no one farms there. ਜਲ ਮਹਿ ਜੰਤ ਉਪਾਇਅਨੁ ਤਿਨਾ ਭਿ ਰੋਜੀ ਦੇਇ ॥ जल महि जंत उपाइअनु तिना भि रोजी देइ ॥ Jal mėh janṯ upā▫i▫an ṯinā bẖė rojī ḏe▫e. He created the creatures in water, and He gives them their nourishment. ਸਉਦਾ ਮੂਲਿ ਨ ਹੋਵਈ ਨਾ ਕੋ ਲਏ ਨ ਦੇਇ ॥ सउदा मूलि न होवई ना को लए न देइ ॥ Sa▫uḏā mūl na hova▫ī nā ko la▫e na ḏe▫e. No business is ever transacted there, and no one buys or sells. ਜੀਆ ਕਾ ਆਹਾਰੁ ਜੀਅ ਖਾਣਾ ਏਹੁ ਕਰੇਇ ॥ जीआ का आहारु जीअ खाणा एहु करेइ ॥ Jī▫ā kā āhār jī▫a kẖāṇā ehu kare▫i. Animals eat other animals; this is what the Lord has given them as food. ਵਿਚਿ ਉਪਾਏ ਸਾਇਰਾ ਤਿਨਾ ਭਿ ਸਾਰ ਕਰੇਇ ॥ विचि उपाए साइरा तिना भि सार करेइ ॥ vicẖ upā▫e sā▫irā ṯinā bẖė sār kare▫i. He created them in the oceans, and He provides for them as well. ਨਾਨਕ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਮਤ ਕਰਹੁ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਤਿਸ ਹੀ ਹੇਇ ॥੧॥ नानक चिंता मत करहु चिंता तिस ही हेइ ॥१॥ Nānak cẖinṯā maṯ karahu cẖinṯā ṯis hī he▫e. ||1|| O Nanak, don't be anxious; the Lord will take care of you. ||1||
