ਕਾਇਆ ਹੰਸ ਧੁਰਿ ਮੇਲੁ ਕਰਤੈ ਲਿਖਿ ਪਾਇਆ ॥ काइआ हंस धुरि मेलु करतै लिखि पाइआ ॥ Kā▫i▫ā hans ḏẖur mel karṯai likẖ pā▫i▫ā. The union of the body and the soul-swan was pre-ordained by the Creator Lord. ਪਉੜੀ ॥ पउड़ी ॥ Pa▫oṛī. Pauree: ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵੈ ਗੁਣ ਉਚਰੈ ਗੁਣ ਮਾਹਿ ਸਮਾਇਆ ॥ गुण गावै गुण उचरै गुण माहि समाइआ ॥ Guṇ gāvai guṇ ucẖrai guṇ māhi samā▫i▫ā. Singing the Glorious Praises of the Lord, and chanting His Praises, one merges in His Glories. ਸਭ ਮਹਿ ਗੁਪਤੁ ਵਰਤਦਾ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਪ੍ਰਗਟਾਇਆ ॥ सभ महि गुपतु वरतदा गुरमुखि प्रगटाइआ ॥ Sabẖ mėh gupaṯ varaṯḏā gurmukẖ paragtā▫i▫ā. He is hidden, and yet pervading all. He is revealed to the Gurmukh. ਸਚੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਸਚੁ ਹੈ ਸਚੁ ਮੇਲਿ ਮਿਲਾਇਆ ॥ सची बाणी सचु है सचु मेलि मिलाइआ ॥ Sacẖī baṇī sacẖ hai sacẖ mel milā▫i▫ā. True is the True Word of the Guru's Bani. One unites in Union with the True Lord. ਸਭੁ ਕਿਛੁ ਆਪੇ ਆਪਿ ਹੈ ਆਪੇ ਦੇਇ ਵਡਿਆਈ ॥੧੪॥ सभु किछु आपे आपि है आपे देइ वडिआई ॥१४॥ Sabẖ kicẖẖ āpe āp hai āpe ḏe▫e vadi▫ā▫ī. ||14|| He Himself is everything; He Himself grants glorious greatness. ||14||
