ਮਃ ੧ ॥ मः १ ॥ Mėhlā 1. First Mehl: ਸੋ ਬੈਰਾਗੀ ਜਿ ਉਲਟੇ ਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ॥ सो बैरागी जि उलटे ब्रहमु ॥ So bairāgī jė ulte barahm. He alone is a Bairaagi, who turns himself toward God. ਗਗਨ ਮੰਡਲ ਮਹਿ ਰੋਪੈ ਥੰਮੁ ॥ गगन मंडल महि रोपै थमु ॥ Gagan mandal mėh ropai thamm. In the Tenth Gate, the sky of the mind, he erects his pillar. ਅਹਿਨਿਸਿ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਰਹੈ ਧਿਆਨਿ ॥ अहिनिसि अंतरि रहै धिआनि ॥ Ahinis anṯar rahai ḏẖi▫ān. Night and day, he remains in deep inner meditation. ਤੇ ਬੈਰਾਗੀ ਸਤ ਸਮਾਨਿ ॥ ते बैरागी सत समानि ॥ Ŧe bairāgī saṯ samān. Such a Bairaagi is just like the True Lord. ਬੋਲੈ ਭਰਥਰਿ ਸਤਿ ਸਰੂਪੁ ॥ बोलै भरथरि सति सरूपु ॥ Bolai bẖarthar saṯ sarūp. Says Bhart'har, God is the embodiment of Truth; ਪਰਮ ਤੰਤ ਮਹਿ ਰੇਖ ਨ ਰੂਪੁ ॥੬॥ परम तंत महि रेख न रूपु ॥६॥ Param ṯanṯ mėh rekẖ na rūp. ||6|| the supreme essence of reality has no shape or form. ||6||
