ਮਾਇਆ ਮੋਹੁ ਮਨਿ ਆਗਲੜਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀ ਜਰਾ ਮਰਣੁ ਭਉ ਵਿਸਰਿ ਗਇਆ ॥ माइआ मोहु मनि आगलड़ा प्राणी जरा मरणु भउ विसरि गइआ ॥ Maa▫i▫aa moh man aaglaṛaa paraaṇee jaraa maraṇ bʰa▫o visar ga▫i▫aa. The mind is totally attached to Maya; the mortal has forgotten his fear of old age and death. ਸਿਰੀਰਾਗੁ ਤ੍ਰਿਲੋਚਨ ਕਾ ॥ सिरीरागु त्रिलोचन का ॥ Sireeraag Ṫrilochan kaa. Siree Raag, Trilochan: ਕੁਟੰਬੁ ਦੇਖਿ ਬਿਗਸਹਿ ਕਮਲਾ ਜਿਉ ਪਰ ਘਰਿ ਜੋਹਹਿ ਕਪਟ ਨਰਾ ॥੧॥ कुट्मबु देखि बिगसहि कमला जिउ पर घरि जोहहि कपट नरा ॥१॥ Kutamb ḋékʰ bigsahi kamlaa ji▫o par gʰar johėh kapat naraa. ||1|| Gazing upon his family, he blossoms forth like the lotus flower; the deceitful person watches and covets the homes of others. ||1|| ਦੂੜਾ ਆਇਓਹਿ ਜਮਹਿ ਤਣਾ ॥ दूड़ा आइओहि जमहि तणा ॥ Ḋooṛaa aa▫i▫ohi jamėh ṫaṇaa. When the powerful Messenger of Death comes, ਤਿਨ ਆਗਲੜੈ ਮੈ ਰਹਣੁ ਨ ਜਾਇ ॥ तिन आगलड़ै मै रहणु न जाइ ॥ Ṫin aaglaṛæ mæ rahaṇ na jaa▫é. no one can stand against his awesome power. ਕੋਈ ਕੋਈ ਸਾਜਣੁ ਆਇ ਕਹੈ ॥ कोई कोई साजणु आइ कहै ॥ Ko▫ee ko▫ee saajaṇ aa▫é kahæ. Rare, very rare, is that friend who comes and says, ਮਿਲੁ ਮੇਰੇ ਬੀਠੁਲਾ ਲੈ ਬਾਹੜੀ ਵਲਾਇ ॥ मिलु मेरे बीठुला लै बाहड़ी वलाइ ॥ Mil méré beetʰulaa læ baahṛee valaa▫é. O my Beloved, take me into Your Embrace! ਮਿਲੁ ਮੇਰੇ ਰਮਈਆ ਮੈ ਲੇਹਿ ਛਡਾਇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ मिलु मेरे रमईआ मै लेहि छडाइ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Mil méré rama▫ee▫aa mæ léhi chʰadaa▫é. ||1|| rahaa▫o. Meet me O my Lord and please save me! ||1||Pause|| ਅਨਿਕ ਅਨਿਕ ਭੋਗ ਰਾਜ ਬਿਸਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਸਾਗਰ ਪੈ ਅਮਰੁ ਭਇਆ ॥ अनिक अनिक भोग राज बिसरे प्राणी संसार सागर पै अमरु भइआ ॥ Anik anik bʰog raaj bisré paraaṇee sansaar saagar pæ amar bʰa▫i▫aa. Indulging in all sorts of princely pleasures, O mortal, you have forgotten God; you have fallen into the world-ocean, and you think that you have become immortal. ਮਾਇਆ ਮੂਠਾ ਚੇਤਸਿ ਨਾਹੀ ਜਨਮੁ ਗਵਾਇਓ ਆਲਸੀਆ ॥੨॥ माइआ मूठा चेतसि नाही जनमु गवाइओ आलसीआ ॥२॥ Maa▫i▫aa mootʰaa chéṫas naahee janam gavaa▫i▫o aalsee▫aa. ||2|| Cheated and plundered by Maya, you do not think of God, and you waste your life in laziness. ||2|| ਬਿਖਮ ਘੋਰ ਪੰਥਿ ਚਾਲਣਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀ ਰਵਿ ਸਸਿ ਤਹ ਨ ਪ੍ਰਵੇਸੰ ॥ बिखम घोर पंथि चालणा प्राणी रवि ससि तह न प्रवेसं ॥ Bikʰam gʰor panṫʰ chaalṇaa paraaṇee rav sas ṫah na parvésaⁿ. The path you must walk is treacherous and terrifying, O mortal; neither the sun nor the moon shine there. ਮਾਇਆ ਮੋਹੁ ਤਬ ਬਿਸਰਿ ਗਇਆ ਜਾਂ ਤਜੀਅਲੇ ਸੰਸਾਰੰ ॥੩॥ माइआ मोहु तब बिसरि गइआ जां तजीअले संसारं ॥३॥ Maa▫i▫aa moh ṫab bisar ga▫i▫aa jaaⁿ ṫajee▫alé saⁿsaaraⁿ. ||3|| Your emotional attachment to Maya will be forgotten, when you have to leave this world. ||3|| ਆਜੁ ਮੇਰੈ ਮਨਿ ਪ੍ਰਗਟੁ ਭਇਆ ਹੈ ਪੇਖੀਅਲੇ ਧਰਮਰਾਓ ॥ आजु मेरै मनि प्रगटु भइआ है पेखीअले धरमराओ ॥ Aaj méræ man pargat bʰa▫i▫aa hæ pékʰee▫alé ḋʰaramraa▫o. Today, it became clear to my mind that the Righteous Judge of Dharma is watching us. ਤਹ ਕਰ ਦਲ ਕਰਨਿ ਮਹਾਬਲੀ ਤਿਨ ਆਗਲੜੈ ਮੈ ਰਹਣੁ ਨ ਜਾਇ ॥੪॥ तह कर दल करनि महाबली तिन आगलड़ै मै रहणु न जाइ ॥४॥ Ṫah kar ḋal karan mahaabalee ṫin aaglaṛæ mæ rahaṇ na jaa▫é. ||4|| His messengers, with their awesome power, crush people between their hands; I cannot stand against them. ||4|| ਜੇ ਕੋ ਮੂੰ ਉਪਦੇਸੁ ਕਰਤੁ ਹੈ ਤਾ ਵਣਿ ਤ੍ਰਿਣਿ ਰਤੜਾ ਨਾਰਾਇਣਾ ॥ जे को मूं उपदेसु करतु है ता वणि त्रिणि रतड़ा नाराइणा ॥ Jé ko mooⁿ upḋés karaṫ hæ ṫaa vaṇ ṫariṇ raṫ▫ṛaa naaraa▫iṇaa. If someone is going to teach me something, let it be that the Lord is pervading the forests and fields. ਐ ਜੀ ਤੂੰ ਆਪੇ ਸਭ ਕਿਛੁ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਬਦਤਿ ਤ੍ਰਿਲੋਚਨੁ ਰਾਮਈਆ ॥੫॥੨॥ ऐ जी तूं आपे सभ किछु जाणदा बदति त्रिलोचनु रामईआ ॥५॥२॥ Æ jee ṫooⁿ aapé sabʰ kichʰ jaaṇḋaa baḋaṫ Ṫrilochan raam▫ee▫aa. ||5||2|| O Dear Lord, You Yourself know everything; thus, prays Trilochan, Lord. ||5||2||
