ਮਨ ਬਚ ਕ੍ਰਮਿ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮੁ ਚਿਤਾਰੀ ॥ मन बच क्रमि राम नामु चितारी ॥ Man bach karam raam naam chiṫaaree. Raamkalee, Fifth Mehl: ਅੰਤਰਿ ਸੂਖਾ ਬਾਹਰਿ ਸੂਖਾ ਹਰਿ ਜਪਿ ਮਲਨ ਭਏ ਦੁਸਟਾਰੀ ॥੧॥ अंतरि सूखा बाहरि सूखा हरि जपि मलन भए दुसटारी ॥१॥ Anṫar sookʰaa baahar sookʰaa har jap malan bʰa▫é ḋustaaree. ||1|| Inwardly, peace, and outwardly, peace; meditating on the Lord, evil tendencies are crushed. ||1|| ਘੂਮਨ ਘੇਰਿ ਮਹਾ ਅਤਿ ਬਿਖੜੀ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਪਾਰਿ ਉਤਾਰੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ घूमन घेरि महा अति बिखड़ी गुरमुखि नानक पारि उतारी ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Gʰooman gʰér mahaa aṫ bikʰ▫ṛee gurmukʰ Naanak paar uṫaaree. ||1|| rahaa▫o. The horrible world-ocean is very treacherous; O Nanak! The Gurmukh is carried across. ||1||Pause|| ਜਿਸ ਤੇ ਲਾਗੇ ਤਿਨਹਿ ਨਿਵਾਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਜੀਉ ਅਪਣੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਧਾਰੀ ॥੨॥ जिस ते लागे तिनहि निवारे प्रभ जीउ अपणी किरपा धारी ॥२॥ Jis ṫé laagé ṫinėh nivaaré parabʰ jee▫o apṇee kirpaa ḋʰaaree. ||2|| He has rid me of what was clinging to me; my Dear Lord God has blessed me with His Grace. ||2|| ਉਧਰੇ ਸੰਤ ਪਰੇ ਹਰਿ ਸਰਨੀ ਪਚਿ ਬਿਨਸੇ ਮਹਾ ਅਹੰਕਾਰੀ ॥੩॥ उधरे संत परे हरि सरनी पचि बिनसे महा अहंकारी ॥३॥ Uḋʰré sanṫ paré har sarnee pach binsé mahaa ahaⁿkaaree. ||3|| The Saints are saved in His Sanctuary; the very egotistical people rot away and die. ||3|| ਸਾਧੂ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਇਹੁ ਫਲੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਇਕੁ ਕੇਵਲ ਨਾਮੁ ਅਧਾਰੀ ॥੪॥ साधू संगति इहु फलु पाइआ इकु केवल नामु अधारी ॥४॥ Saaḋʰoo sangaṫ ih fal paa▫i▫aa ik kéval naam aḋʰaaree. ||4|| In the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, I have obtained this fruit, the Support of the One Name alone. ||4|| ਨ ਕੋਈ ਸੂਰੁ ਨ ਕੋਈ ਹੀਣਾ ਸਭ ਪ੍ਰਗਟੀ ਜੋਤਿ ਤੁਮੑਾਰੀ ॥੫॥ न कोई सूरु न कोई हीणा सभ प्रगटी जोति तुम्हारी ॥५॥ Na ko▫ee soor na ko▫ee heeṇaa sabʰ pargatee joṫ ṫumĥaaree. ||5|| No one is strong, and no one is weak; all are manifestations of Your Light, Lord. ||5|| ਤੁਮੑ ਸਮਰਥ ਅਕਥ ਅਗੋਚਰ ਰਵਿਆ ਏਕੁ ਮੁਰਾਰੀ ॥੬॥ तुम्ह समरथ अकथ अगोचर रविआ एकु मुरारी ॥६॥ Ṫumĥ samraṫʰ akaṫʰ agochar ravi▫aa ék muraaree. ||6|| You are the all-powerful, indescribable, unfathomable, all-pervading Lord. ||6|| ਕੀਮਤਿ ਕਉਣੁ ਕਰੇ ਤੇਰੀ ਕਰਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਅੰਤੁ ਨ ਪਾਰਾਵਾਰੀ ॥੭॥ कीमति कउणु करे तेरी करते प्रभ अंतु न पारावारी ॥७॥ Keemaṫ ka▫uṇ karé ṫéree karṫé parabʰ anṫ na paaraavaaree. ||7|| Who can estimate Your value, O Creator Lord? God has no end or limitation. ||7|| ਨਾਮ ਦਾਨੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਵਡਿਆਈ ਤੇਰਿਆ ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾ ਰੇਣਾਰੀ ॥੮॥੩॥੮॥੨੨॥ नाम दानु नानक वडिआई तेरिआ संत जना रेणारी ॥८॥३॥८॥२२॥ Naam ḋaan Naanak vadi▫aa▫ee ṫéri▫aa sanṫ janaa réṇaaree. ||8||3||8||22|| Please bless Nanak with the glorious greatness of the gift of the Naam, and the dust of the feet of Your Saints. ||8||3||8||22||
