ਜੇ ਵਡ ਭਾਗ ਹੋਵਹਿ ਵਡ ਮੇਰੇ ਜਨ ਮਿਲਦਿਆ ਢਿਲ ਨ ਲਾਈਐ ॥ जे वड भाग होवहि वड मेरे जन मिलदिआ ढिल न लाईऐ ॥ Je vad bẖāg hovėh vad mere jan milḏi▫āʼn dẖil na lā▫ī▫ai. Raamkalee, Fourth Mehl: ਹਰਿ ਜਨ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਕੁੰਟ ਸਰ ਨੀਕੇ ਵਡਭਾਗੀ ਤਿਤੁ ਨਾਵਾਈਐ ॥੧॥ हरि जन अम्रित कुंट सर नीके वडभागी तितु नावाईऐ ॥१॥ Har jan amriṯ kunt sar nīke vadbẖāgī ṯiṯ nāvā▫ī▫ai. ||1|| The Lord's humble servants are pools of ambrosial nectar; by great good fortune, one bathes in them. ||1|| ਰਾਮ ਮੋ ਕਉ ਹਰਿ ਜਨ ਕਾਰੈ ਲਾਈਐ ॥ राम मो कउ हरि जन कारै लाईऐ ॥ Rām mo ka▫o har jan kārai lā▫ī▫ai. O Lord, let me work for the humble servants of the Lord. ਹਉ ਪਾਣੀ ਪਖਾ ਪੀਸਉ ਸੰਤ ਆਗੈ ਪਗ ਮਲਿ ਮਲਿ ਧੂਰਿ ਮੁਖਿ ਲਾਈਐ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ हउ पाणी पखा पीसउ संत आगै पग मलि मलि धूरि मुखि लाईऐ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Ha▫o pāṇī pakẖā pīsa▫o sanṯ āgai pag mal mal ḏẖūr mukẖ lā▫ī▫ai. ||1|| rahā▫o. I carry water, wave the fan and grind the corn for them; I massage and wash their feet. I apply the dust of their feet to my forehead. ||1||Pause|| ਹਰਿ ਜਨ ਵਡੇ ਵਡੇ ਵਡ ਊਚੇ ਜੋ ਸਤਗੁਰ ਮੇਲਿ ਮਿਲਾਈਐ ॥ हरि जन वडे वडे वड ऊचे जो सतगुर मेलि मिलाईऐ ॥ Har jan vade vade vad ūcẖe jo saṯgur mel milā▫ī▫ai. The Lord's humble servants are great, very great, the greatest and most exalted; they lead us to meet the True Guru. ਸਤਗੁਰ ਜੇਵਡੁ ਅਵਰੁ ਨ ਕੋਈ ਮਿਲਿ ਸਤਗੁਰ ਪੁਰਖ ਧਿਆਈਐ ॥੨॥ सतगुर जेवडु अवरु न कोई मिलि सतगुर पुरख धिआईऐ ॥२॥ Saṯgur jevad avar na ko▫ī mil saṯgur purakẖ ḏẖi▫ā▫ī▫ai. ||2|| No one else is as great as the True Guru; meeting the True Guru, I meditate on the Lord, the Primal Being. ||2|| ਸਤਗੁਰ ਸਰਣਿ ਪਰੇ ਤਿਨ ਪਾਇਆ ਮੇਰੇ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਲਾਜ ਰਖਾਈਐ ॥ सतगुर सरणि परे तिन पाइआ मेरे ठाकुर लाज रखाईऐ ॥ Saṯgur saraṇ pare ṯin pā▫i▫ā mere ṯẖākur lāj rakẖā▫ī▫ai. Those who seek the Sanctuary of the True Guru find the Lord. My Lord and Master saves their honor. ਇਕਿ ਅਪਣੈ ਸੁਆਇ ਆਇ ਬਹਹਿ ਗੁਰ ਆਗੈ ਜਿਉ ਬਗੁਲ ਸਮਾਧਿ ਲਗਾਈਐ ॥੩॥ इकि अपणै सुआइ आइ बहहि गुर आगै जिउ बगुल समाधि लगाईऐ ॥३॥ Ik apṇai su▫ā▫e ā▫e bahėh gur āgai ji▫o bagul samāḏẖ lagā▫ī▫ai. ||3|| Some come for their own purposes, and sit before the Guru; they pretend to be in Samaadhi, like storks with their eyes closed. ||3|| ਬਗੁਲਾ ਕਾਗ ਨੀਚ ਕੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਜਾਇ ਕਰੰਗ ਬਿਖੂ ਮੁਖਿ ਲਾਈਐ ॥ बगुला काग नीच की संगति जाइ करंग बिखू मुखि लाईऐ ॥ Bagulā kāg nīcẖ kī sangaṯ jā▫e karang bikẖū mukẖ lā▫ī▫ai. Associating with the wretched and the lowly, like the stork and the crow, is like feeding on a carcass of poison. ਨਾਨਕ ਮੇਲਿ ਮੇਲਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਮਿਲਿ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਹੰਸੁ ਕਰਾਈਐ ॥੪॥੪॥ नानक मेलि मेलि प्रभ संगति मिलि संगति हंसु कराईऐ ॥४॥४॥ Nānak mel mel parabẖ sangaṯ mil sangaṯ hans karā▫ī▫ai. ||4||4|| Nanak: O God, unite me with the Sangat, the Congregation. United with the Sangat, I will become a swan. ||4||4|| ਸਤਗੁਰ ਦਇਆ ਕਰਹੁ ਹਰਿ ਮੇਲਹੁ ਮੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਪ੍ਰਾਣ ਹਰਿ ਰਾਇਆ ॥ सतगुर दइआ करहु हरि मेलहु मेरे प्रीतम प्राण हरि राइआ ॥ Saṯgur ḏa▫i▫ā karahu har melhu mere parīṯam parāṇ har rā▫i▫ā. O True Guru, please be kind, and unite me with the Lord. My Sovereign Lord is the Beloved of my breath of life.
