ਧ੍ਰਿਗੁ ਏਹ ਆਸਾ ਦੂਜੇ ਭਾਵ ਕੀ ਜੋ ਮੋਹਿ ਮਾਇਆ ਚਿਤੁ ਲਾਏ ॥ ध्रिगु एह आसा दूजे भाव की जो मोहि माइआ चितु लाए ॥ Ḏẖarig eh āsā ḏūje bẖāv kī jo mohi mā▫i▫ā cẖiṯ lā▫e. Cursed are the hopes in the love of duality; they tie the consciousness to love and attachment to Maya. ਸਲੋਕ ਮਃ ੩ ॥ सलोक मः ३ ॥ Salok mėhlā 3. Shalok, Third Mehl: ਹਰਿ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਲ੍ਹ੍ਹਰਿ ਤਿਆਗਿਆ ਨਾਮੁ ਵਿਸਾਰਿ ਦੁਖੁ ਪਾਏ ॥ हरि सुखु पल्हरि तिआगिआ नामु विसारि दुखु पाए ॥ Har sukẖ palĥar ṯi▫āgi▫ā nām visār ḏukẖ pā▫e. One who forsakes the peace of the Lord in exchange for straw, and forgets the Naam, suffers in pain. ਮਨਮੁਖ ਅਗਿਆਨੀ ਅੰਧੁਲੇ ਜਨਮਿ ਮਰਹਿ ਫਿਰਿ ਆਵੈ ਜਾਏ ॥ मनमुख अगिआनी अंधुले जनमि मरहि फिरि आवै जाए ॥ Manmukẖ agi▫ānī anḏẖule janam marėh fir āvai jā▫e. The ignorant self-willed manmukhs are blind. They are born, only to die again, and continue coming and going. ਕਾਰਜ ਸਿਧਿ ਨ ਹੋਵਨੀ ਅੰਤਿ ਗਇਆ ਪਛੁਤਾਏ ॥ कारज सिधि न होवनी अंति गइआ पछुताए ॥ Kāraj siḏẖ na hovnī anṯ ga▫i▫ā pacẖẖuṯā▫e. Their affairs are not resolved, and in the end, they depart, regretting and repenting. ਜਿਸੁ ਕਰਮੁ ਹੋਵੈ ਤਿਸੁ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਮਿਲੈ ਸੋ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਏ ॥ जिसु करमु होवै तिसु सतिगुरु मिलै सो हरि हरि नामु धिआए ॥ Jis karam hovai ṯis saṯgur milai so har har nām ḏẖi▫ā▫e. One who is blessed with the Lord's Grace, meets the True Guru; he alone meditates on the Name of the Lord, Har, Har. ਨਾਮਿ ਰਤੇ ਜਨ ਸਦਾ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਇਨ੍ਹ੍ਹਿ ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਤਿਨ ਬਲਿ ਜਾਏ ॥੧॥ नामि रते जन सदा सुखु पाइन्हि जन नानक तिन बलि जाए ॥१॥ Nām raṯe jan saḏā sukẖ pā▫iniĥ jan Nānak ṯin bal jā▫e. ||1|| Imbued with the Naam, the humble servants of the Lord find a lasting peace; servant Nanak is a sacrifice to them. ||1||
