ਬਿਲਾਵਲੁ ਤਬ ਹੀ ਕੀਜੀਐ ਜਬ ਮੁਖਿ ਹੋਵੈ ਨਾਮੁ ॥ बिलावलु तब ही कीजीऐ जब मुखि होवै नामु ॥ Bilāval ṯab hī kījī▫ai jab mukẖ hovai nām. Be happy and sing in Bilaaval, when the Naam, the Name of the Lord, is in your mouth. ਮਃ ੩ ॥ मः ३ ॥ Mėhlā 3. Third Mehl: ਰਾਗ ਨਾਦ ਛੋਡਿ ਹਰਿ ਸੇਵੀਐ ਤਾ ਦਰਗਹ ਪਾਈਐ ਮਾਨੁ ॥ राग नाद छोडि हरि सेवीऐ ता दरगह पाईऐ मानु ॥ Rāg nāḏ cẖẖod har sevī▫ai ṯā ḏargėh pā▫ī▫ai mān. So leave behind the melody and music, and serve the Lord; then, you shall obtain honor in the Court of the Lord. ਰਾਗ ਨਾਦ ਸਬਦਿ ਸੋਹਣੇ ਜਾ ਲਾਗੈ ਸਹਜਿ ਧਿਆਨੁ ॥ राग नाद सबदि सोहणे जा लागै सहजि धिआनु ॥ Rāg nāḏ sabaḏ sohṇe jā lāgai sahj ḏẖi▫ān. The melody and music, and the Word of the Shabad are beautiful, when one focuses his meditation on the celestial Lord. ਨਾਨਕ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਬੀਚਾਰੀਐ ਚੂਕੈ ਮਨਿ ਅਭਿਮਾਨੁ ॥੨॥ नानक गुरमुखि ब्रहमु बीचारीऐ चूकै मनि अभिमानु ॥२॥ Nānak gurmukẖ barahm bīcẖārī▫ai cẖūkai man abẖimān. ||2|| O Nanak, as Gurmukh, contemplate God, and rid your mind of egotistical pride. ||2||
