ਜੀਅ ਜੁਗਤਿ ਵਸਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਕੈ ਜੋ ਕਹੈ ਸੁ ਕਰਨਾ ॥ जीअ जुगति वसि प्रभू कै जो कहै सु करना ॥ Jī▫a jugaṯ vas parabẖū kai jo kahai so karnā. The living creatures and their ways are in God's power. Whatever He says, they do. ਬਿਲਾਵਲੁ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ बिलावलु महला ५ ॥ Bilāval mėhlā 5. Bilaaval, Fifth Mehl: ਭਏ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਗੋਪਾਲ ਰਾਇ ਭਉ ਕਿਛੁ ਨਹੀ ਕਰਨਾ ॥੧॥ भए प्रसंन गोपाल राइ भउ किछु नही करना ॥१॥ Bẖa▫e parsann gopāl rā▫e bẖa▫o kicẖẖ nahī karnā. ||1|| When the Sovereign Lord of the Universe is pleased, there is nothing at all to fear. ||1|| ਦੂਖੁ ਨ ਲਾਗੈ ਕਦੇ ਤੁਧੁ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਚਿਤਾਰੇ ॥ दूखु न लागै कदे तुधु पारब्रहमु चितारे ॥ Ḏūkẖ na lāgai kaḏe ṯuḏẖ pārbarahm cẖiṯāre. Pain shall never afflict you, if you remember the Supreme Lord God. ਜਮਕੰਕਰੁ ਨੇੜਿ ਨ ਆਵਈ ਗੁਰਸਿਖ ਪਿਆਰੇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ जमकंकरु नेड़ि न आवई गुरसिख पिआरे ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Jamkankar neṛ na āvī gursikẖ pi▫āre. ||1|| rahā▫o. The Messenger of Death does not even approach the beloved Sikhs of the Guru. ||1||Pause|| ਕਰਣ ਕਾਰਣ ਸਮਰਥੁ ਹੈ ਤਿਸੁ ਬਿਨੁ ਨਹੀ ਹੋਰੁ ॥ करण कारण समरथु है तिसु बिनु नही होरु ॥ Karaṇ kāraṇ samrath hai ṯis bin nahī hor. The All-powerful Lord is the Cause of causes; there is no other than Him. ਨਾਨਕ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸਰਣਾਗਤੀ ਸਾਚਾ ਮਨਿ ਜੋਰੁ ॥੨॥੫॥੬੯॥ नानक प्रभ सरणागती साचा मनि जोरु ॥२॥५॥६९॥ Nānak parabẖ sarṇāgaṯī sācẖā man jor. ||2||5||69|| Nanak has entered the Sanctuary of God; the True Lord has given strength to the mind. ||2||5||69||
