ਮਹਾ ਤਪਤਿ ਤੇ ਭਈ ਸਾਂਤਿ ਪਰਸਤ ਪਾਪ ਨਾਠੇ ॥ महा तपति ते भई सांति परसत पाप नाठे ॥ Mahaa ṫapaṫ ṫé bʰa▫ee saaⁿṫ parsaṫ paap naatʰé. The great fire is put out and cooled; meeting with the Guru, sins run away. ਬਿਲਾਵਲੁ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ बिलावलु महला ५ ॥ Bilaaval mėhlaa 5. Bilaaval, Fifth Mehl: ਓਇ ਹਮਾਰੇ ਸਾਜਨਾ ਹਮ ਉਨ ਕੀ ਰੇਨ ॥ ओइ हमारे साजना हम उन की रेन ॥ O▫é hamaaré saajnaa ham un kee rén. He is my friend; I am the dust of His Feet. ਅੰਧ ਕੂਪ ਮਹਿ ਗਲਤ ਥੇ ਕਾਢੇ ਦੇ ਹਾਥੇ ॥੧॥ अंध कूप महि गलत थे काढे दे हाथे ॥१॥ Anḋʰ koop mėh galaṫ ṫʰé kaadʰé ḋé haaṫʰé. ||1|| I fell into the deep dark pit; giving me His Hand, He pulled me out. ||1|| ਜਿਨ ਭੇਟਤ ਹੋਵਤ ਸੁਖੀ ਜੀਅ ਦਾਨੁ ਦੇਨ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ जिन भेटत होवत सुखी जीअ दानु देन ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Jin bʰétaṫ hovaṫ sukʰee jee▫a ḋaan ḋén. ||1|| rahaa▫o. Meeting with Him, I am at peace; He blesses me with the gift of the soul. ||1||Pause|| ਪਰਾ ਪੂਰਬਲਾ ਲੀਖਿਆ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਅਬ ਆਇ ॥ परा पूरबला लीखिआ मिलिआ अब आइ ॥ Paraa poorbalaa leekʰi▫aa mili▫aa ab aa▫é. I have now received my preordained destiny. ਬਸਤ ਸੰਗਿ ਹਰਿ ਸਾਧ ਕੈ ਪੂਰਨ ਆਸਾਇ ॥੨॥ बसत संगि हरि साध कै पूरन आसाइ ॥२॥ Basaṫ sang har saaḋʰ kæ pooran aasaa▫é. ||2|| Dwelling with the Lord’s Holy Saints, my hopes are fulfilled. ||2|| ਭੈ ਬਿਨਸੇ ਤਿਹੁ ਲੋਕ ਕੇ ਪਾਏ ਸੁਖ ਥਾਨ ॥ भै बिनसे तिहु लोक के पाए सुख थान ॥ Bʰæ binsé ṫihu lok ké paa▫é sukʰ ṫʰaan. The fear of the three worlds is dispelled, and I have found my place of rest and peace. ਦਇਆ ਕਰੀ ਸਮਰਥ ਗੁਰਿ ਬਸਿਆ ਮਨਿ ਨਾਮ ॥੩॥ दइआ करी समरथ गुरि बसिआ मनि नाम ॥३॥ Ḋa▫i▫aa karee samraṫʰ gur basi▫aa man naam. ||3|| The all-powerful Guru has taken pity upon me, and the Naam has come to dwell in my mind. ||3|| ਨਾਨਕ ਕੀ ਤੂ ਟੇਕ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਤੇਰਾ ਆਧਾਰ ॥ नानक की तू टेक प्रभ तेरा आधार ॥ Naanak kee ṫoo ték parabʰ ṫéraa aaḋʰaar. O God, You are the Anchor and Support of Nanak. ਕਰਣ ਕਾਰਣ ਸਮਰਥ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਹਰਿ ਅਗਮ ਅਪਾਰ ॥੪॥੧੯॥੪੯॥ करण कारण समरथ प्रभ हरि अगम अपार ॥४॥१९॥४९॥ Karaṇ kaaraṇ samraṫʰ parabʰ har agam apaar. ||4||19||49|| He is the Doer, the Cause of all causes; the All-powerful Lord God is inaccessible and infinite. ||4||19||49||
