ਲੋਕਨ ਕੀਆ ਵਡਿਆਈਆ ਬੈਸੰਤਰਿ ਪਾਗਉ ॥ लोकन कीआ वडिआईआ बैसंतरि पागउ ॥ Lokan kī▫ā vaḏi▫ā▫ī▫ā baisanṯar pāga▫o. The glories of the world, I cast into the fire. ਬਿਲਾਵਲੁ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ बिलावलु महला ५ ॥ Bilāval mėhlā 5. Bilaaval, Fifth Mehl: ਜਿਉ ਮਿਲੈ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਆਪਨਾ ਤੇ ਬੋਲ ਕਰਾਗਉ ॥੧॥ जिउ मिलै पिआरा आपना ते बोल करागउ ॥१॥ Ji▫o milai pi▫ārā āpnā ṯe bol karāga▫o. ||1|| I chant those words, by which I may meet my Beloved. ||1|| ਜਉ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਜੀਉ ਦਇਆਲ ਹੋਇ ਤਉ ਭਗਤੀ ਲਾਗਉ ॥ जउ प्रभ जीउ दइआल होइ तउ भगती लागउ ॥ Ja▫o parabẖ jī▫o ḏa▫i▫āl ho▫e ṯa▫o bẖagṯī lāga▫o. When God becomes Merciful, then He enjoins me to His devotional service. ਲਪਟਿ ਰਹਿਓ ਮਨੁ ਬਾਸਨਾ ਗੁਰ ਮਿਲਿ ਇਹ ਤਿਆਗਉ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ लपटि रहिओ मनु बासना गुर मिलि इह तिआगउ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Lapat rahi▫o man bāsnā gur mil ih ṯi▫āga▫o. ||1|| rahā▫o. My mind clings to worldly desires; meeting with the Guru, I have renounced them. ||1||Pause|| ਕਰਉ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਅਤਿ ਘਨੀ ਇਹੁ ਜੀਉ ਹੋਮਾਗਉ ॥ करउ बेनती अति घनी इहु जीउ होमागउ ॥ Kara▫o benṯī aṯ gẖanī ih jī▫o homāga▫o. I pray with intense devotion, and offer this soul to Him. ਅਰਥ ਆਨ ਸਭਿ ਵਾਰਿਆ ਪ੍ਰਿਅ ਨਿਮਖ ਸੋਹਾਗਉ ॥੨॥ अरथ आन सभि वारिआ प्रिअ निमख सोहागउ ॥२॥ Arath ān sabẖ vāri▫ā pari▫a nimakẖ sohāga▫o. ||2|| I would sacrifice all other riches, for a moment's union with my Beloved. ||2|| ਪੰਚ ਸੰਗੁ ਗੁਰ ਤੇ ਛੁਟੇ ਦੋਖ ਅਰੁ ਰਾਗਉ ॥ पंच संगु गुर ते छुटे दोख अरु रागउ ॥ Pancẖ sang gur ṯe cẖẖute ḏokẖ ar rāga▫o. Through the Guru, I am rid of the five villains, as well as emotional love and hate. ਰਿਦੈ ਪ੍ਰਗਾਸੁ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਭਇਆ ਨਿਸਿ ਬਾਸੁਰ ਜਾਗਉ ॥੩॥ रिदै प्रगासु प्रगट भइआ निसि बासुर जागउ ॥३॥ Riḏai pargās pargat bẖa▫i▫ā nis bāsur jāga▫o. ||3|| My heart is illumined, and the Lord has become manifest; night and day, I remain awake and aware. ||3|| ਸਰਣਿ ਸੋਹਾਗਨਿ ਆਇਆ ਜਿਸੁ ਮਸਤਕਿ ਭਾਗਉ ॥ सरणि सोहागनि आइआ जिसु मसतकि भागउ ॥ Saraṇ sohāgan ā▫i▫ā jis masṯak bẖāga▫o. The blessed soul-bride seeks His Sanctuary; her destiny is recorded on her forehead. ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਤਿਨਿ ਪਾਇਆ ਤਨੁ ਮਨੁ ਸੀਤਲਾਗਉ ॥੪॥੨॥੩੨॥ कहु नानक तिनि पाइआ तनु मनु सीतलागउ ॥४॥२॥३२॥ Kaho Nānak ṯin pā▫i▫ā ṯan man sīṯlāga▫o. ||4||2||32|| Says Nanak, she obtains her Husband Lord; her body and mind are cooled and soothed. ||4||2||32||
