ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਜਿਸ ਨੋ ਆਪੇ ਲਾਏ ॥ गुरमुखि प्रीति जिस नो आपे लाए ॥ Gurmukẖ parīṯ jis no āpe lā▫e. The Lord Himself attaches the Gurmukh to His Love; ਬਿਲਾਵਲੁ ਮਹਲਾ ੩ ॥ बिलावलु महला ३ ॥ Bilāval mėhlā 3. Bilaaval, Third Mehl: ਮੰਗਲੁ ਨਾਰੀ ਗਾਵਹਿ ਆਏ ॥ मंगलु नारी गावहि आए ॥ Mangal nārī gāvahi ā▫e. The women come and sing the songs of joy. ਤਿਤੁ ਘਰਿ ਬਿਲਾਵਲੁ ਗੁਰ ਸਬਦਿ ਸੁਹਾਏ ॥ तितु घरि बिलावलु गुर सबदि सुहाए ॥ Ŧiṯ gẖar bilāval gur sabaḏ suhā▫e. joyful melodies permeate his home, and he is embellished with the Word of the Guru's Shabad. ਮਿਲਿ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਸਦਾ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਏ ॥੧॥ मिलि प्रीतम सदा सुखु पाए ॥१॥ Mil parīṯam saḏā sukẖ pā▫e. ||1|| Meeting with their Beloved, lasting peace is obtained. ||1|| ਹਉ ਤਿਨ ਬਲਿਹਾਰੈ ਜਿਨ੍ਹ੍ਹ ਹਰਿ ਮੰਨਿ ਵਸਾਏ ॥ हउ तिन बलिहारै जिन्ह हरि मंनि वसाए ॥ Ha▫o ṯin balihārai jinĥ har man vasā▫e. I am a sacrifice to those, whose minds are filled with the Lord. ਹਰਿ ਜਨ ਕਉ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਈਐ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵੈ ਸਹਜਿ ਸੁਭਾਏ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ हरि जन कउ मिलिआ सुखु पाईऐ हरि गुण गावै सहजि सुभाए ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Har jan ka▫o mili▫ā sukẖ pā▫ī▫ai har guṇ gāvai sahj subẖā▫e. ||1|| rahā▫o. Meeting with the humble servant of the Lord, peace is obtained, and one intuitively sings the Glorious Praises of the Lord. ||1||Pause|| ਸਦਾ ਰੰਗਿ ਰਾਤੇ ਤੇਰੈ ਚਾਏ ॥ सदा रंगि राते तेरै चाए ॥ Saḏā rang rāṯe ṯerai cẖā▫e. They are always imbued with Your Joyful Love; ਹਰਿ ਜੀਉ ਆਪਿ ਵਸੈ ਮਨਿ ਆਏ ॥ हरि जीउ आपि वसै मनि आए ॥ Har jī▫o āp vasai man ā▫e. O Dear Lord, You Yourself come to dwell in their minds. ਆਪੇ ਸੋਭਾ ਸਦ ਹੀ ਪਾਏ ॥ आपे सोभा सद ही पाए ॥ Āpe sobẖā saḏ hī pā▫e. They obtain eternal glory. ਨਿਜ ਘਰਿ ਵਾਸਾ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਏ ॥ निज घरि वासा हरि गुण गाए ॥ Nij gẖar vāsā har guṇ gā▫e. They abide in the home of their own being, singing the Glorious Praises of the Lord. ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਰਾਤੇ ਸਬਦਿ ਰੰਗਾਏ ॥ गुरमुखि राते सबदि रंगाए ॥ Gurmukẖ rāṯe sabaḏ rangā▫e. The Gurmukhs are imbued with the love of the Word of the Shabad. ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਮੇਲੈ ਮੇਲਿ ਮਿਲਾਏ ॥੨॥ गुरमुखि मेलै मेलि मिलाए ॥२॥ Gurmukẖ melai mel milā▫e. ||2|| The Gurmukhs are united in the Lord's Union. ||2|| ਰੰਗਿ ਚਲੂਲੈ ਹਰਿ ਰਸਿ ਭਾਏ ॥ रंगि चलूलै हरि रसि भाए ॥ Rang cẖalūlai har ras bẖā▫e. They are dyed in the deep crimson color of the Lord's Love; they look so beautiful. ਇਹੁ ਰੰਗੁ ਕਦੇ ਨ ਉਤਰੈ ਸਾਚਿ ਸਮਾਏ ॥੩॥ इहु रंगु कदे न उतरै साचि समाए ॥३॥ Ih rang kaḏe na uṯrai sācẖ samā▫e. ||3|| This dye never fades away; they are absorbed in the True Lord. ||3|| ਅੰਤਰਿ ਸਬਦੁ ਮਿਟਿਆ ਅਗਿਆਨੁ ਅੰਧੇਰਾ ॥ अंतरि सबदु मिटिआ अगिआनु अंधेरा ॥ Anṯar sabaḏ miti▫ā agi▫ān anḏẖerā. The Shabad deep within the nucleus of the self dispels the darkness of ignorance. ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਗਿਆਨੁ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮੁ ਮੇਰਾ ॥ सतिगुर गिआनु मिलिआ प्रीतमु मेरा ॥ Saṯgur gi▫ān mili▫ā parīṯam merā. Meeting with my Friend, the True Guru, I have obtained spiritual wisdom. ਜੋ ਸਚਿ ਰਾਤੇ ਤਿਨ ਬਹੁੜਿ ਨ ਫੇਰਾ ॥ जो सचि राते तिन बहुड़ि न फेरा ॥ Jo sacẖ rāṯe ṯin bahuṛ na ferā. Those who are attuned to the True Lord, do not have to enter the cycle of reincarnation again. ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮੁ ਦ੍ਰਿੜਾਏ ਪੂਰਾ ਗੁਰੁ ਮੇਰਾ ॥੪॥੫॥ नानक नामु द्रिड़ाए पूरा गुरु मेरा ॥४॥५॥ Nānak nām driṛ▫ā▫e pūrā gur merā. ||4||5|| O Nanak, my Perfect Guru implants the Naam, the Name of the Lord, deep within. ||4||5|| ਅਚਿੰਤ ਨਾਮੁ ਵਸਿਆ ਮਨਿ ਆਈ ॥ अचिंत नामु वसिआ मनि आई ॥ Acẖinṯ nām vasi▫ā man ā▫ī. The Naam, the Name of the Lord, has spontaneously come to abide in my mind. ਪੂਰੇ ਗੁਰ ਤੇ ਵਡਿਆਈ ਪਾਈ ॥ पूरे गुर ते वडिआई पाई ॥ Pūre gur ṯe vadi▫ā▫ī pā▫ī. From the Perfect Guru, I have obtained glorious greatness.
