ਜਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਸਾਲਾਹੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਸੋ ਸੋਭਾ ਪਾਏ ॥ जि प्रभु सालाहे आपणा सो सोभा पाए ॥ Jė parabẖ sālāhe āpṇā so sobẖā pā▫e. One who praises his God, receives honor. ਪਉੜੀ ॥ पउड़ी ॥ Pa▫oṛī. Pauree: ਸਚੁ ਬਾਣੀ ਗੁਣ ਉਚਰੈ ਸਚਾ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਏ ॥ सचु बाणी गुण उचरै सचा सुखु पाए ॥ Sacẖ baṇī guṇ ucẖrai sacẖā sukẖ pā▫e. Through the True Word of the Guru's Bani, he chants the Glorious Praises of the Lord, and finds true peace. ਹਉਮੈ ਵਿਚਹੁ ਦੂਰਿ ਕਰਿ ਸਚੁ ਮੰਨਿ ਵਸਾਏ ॥ हउमै विचहु दूरि करि सचु मंनि वसाए ॥ Ha▫umai vicẖahu ḏūr kar sacẖ man vasā▫e. He drives out egotism from within himself, and enshrines the True Name within his mind. ਮਨੁ ਮੈਲਾ ਇਵ ਸੁਧੁ ਹੈ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਏ ॥੧੭॥ मनु मैला इव सुधु है हरि नामु धिआए ॥१७॥ Man mailā iv suḏẖ hai har nām ḏẖi▫ā▫e. ||17|| In this way, his filthy mind is cleansed and purified, and he meditates on the Name of the Lord. ||17|| ਮੇਲੁ ਭਇਆ ਚਿਰੀ ਵਿਛੁੰਨਿਆ ਗੁਰ ਪੁਰਖਿ ਮਿਲਾਏ ॥ मेलु भइआ चिरी विछुंनिआ गुर पुरखि मिलाए ॥ Mel bẖa▫i▫ā cẖirī vicẖẖunni▫ā gur purakẖ milā▫e. He is united with the Lord, after being separated for so long; the Guru, the Primal Being, unites him with the Lord.
