ਤੁਧੁ ਦੁਖੁ ਸੁਖੁ ਨਾਲਿ ਉਪਾਇਆ ਲੇਖੁ ਕਰਤੈ ਲਿਖਿਆ ॥ तुधु दुखु सुखु नालि उपाइआ लेखु करतै लिखिआ ॥ Ŧuḏẖ ḏukẖ sukẖ nāl upā▫i▫ā lekẖ karṯai likẖi▫ā. You created pain along with pleasure; O Creator, such is the writ You have written. ਪਉੜੀ ॥ पउड़ी ॥ Pa▫oṛī. Pauree: ਨਾਮੁ ਅਖੁਟੁ ਨਿਧਾਨੁ ਹੈ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਮਨਿ ਵਸਿਆ ॥ नामु अखुटु निधानु है गुरमुखि मनि वसिआ ॥ Nām akẖut niḏẖān hai gurmukẖ man vasi▫ā. The Naam, the Name of the Lord, is an inexhaustible treasure; it abides in the mind of the Gurmukh. ਨਾਵੈ ਜੇਵਡ ਹੋਰ ਦਾਤਿ ਨਾਹੀ ਤਿਸੁ ਰੂਪੁ ਨ ਰਿਖਿਆ ॥ नावै जेवड होर दाति नाही तिसु रूपु न रिखिआ ॥ Nāvai jevad hor ḏāṯ nāhī ṯis rūp na rikẖi▫ā. There is no other gift as great as the Name; it has no form or sign. ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਦੇਵਸੀ ਫਿਰਿ ਲੇਖੁ ਨ ਲਿਖਿਆ ॥ करि किरपा नामु देवसी फिरि लेखु न लिखिआ ॥ Kar kirpā nām ḏevsī fir lekẖ na likẖi▫ā. In His Mercy, He blesses us with the Naam, and then, the writ of pain and pleasure is not written. ਸੇਵਕ ਭਾਇ ਸੇ ਜਨ ਮਿਲੇ ਜਿਨ ਹਰਿ ਜਪੁ ਜਪਿਆ ॥੬॥ सेवक भाइ से जन मिले जिन हरि जपु जपिआ ॥६॥ Sevak bẖā▫e se jan mile jin har jap japi▫ā. ||6|| Those humble servants who serve with love, meet the Lord, chanting the Chant of the Lord. ||6||
