ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥ ੴ सतिगुर प्रसादि ॥ Ik▫oaʼnkār saṯgur parsāḏ. One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru: ਰਾਗੁ ਸੂਹੀ ਛੰਤ ਮਹਲਾ ੪ ਘਰੁ ੨ ॥ रागु सूही छंत महला ४ घरु २ ॥ Rāg sūhī cẖẖanṯ mėhlā 4 gẖar 2. Raag Soohee, Chhant, Fourth Mehl, Second House: ਹਰਿ ਰਸਨ ਰਸਾਏ ਮੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਭਾਏ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਸਹਜਿ ਸੁਭਾਏ ॥ हरि रसन रसाए मेरे प्रभ भाए मिलिआ सहजि सुभाए ॥ Har rasan rasā▫e mere parabẖ bẖā▫e mili▫ā sahj subẖā▫e. They enjoy and savor His taste, and are pleasing to my God, who meets them with natural ease. ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਏ ॥ गुरमुखि हरि गुण गाए ॥ Gurmukẖ har guṇ gā▫e. The Gurmukhs sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord; ਹਿਰਦੈ ਰਸਨ ਰਸਾਏ ॥ हिरदै रसन रसाए ॥ Hirḏai rasan rasā▫e. in their hearts, and on their tongues, they enjoy and savor His taste. ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਭੋਗ ਭੋਗੇ ਸੁਖਿ ਸੋਵੈ ਸਬਦਿ ਰਹੈ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਏ ॥ अनदिनु भोग भोगे सुखि सोवै सबदि रहै लिव लाए ॥ An▫ḏin bẖog bẖoge sukẖ sovai sabaḏ rahai liv lā▫e. Night and day, they enjoy enjoyments, and they sleep in peace; they remain lovingly absorbed in the Word of the Shabad. ਵਡੈ ਭਾਗਿ ਗੁਰੁ ਪੂਰਾ ਪਾਈਐ ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਏ ॥ वडै भागि गुरु पूरा पाईऐ अनदिनु नामु धिआए ॥ vadai bẖāg gur pūrā pā▫ī▫ai an▫ḏin nām ḏẖi▫ā▫e. By great good fortune, one obtains the Perfect Guru; night and day, meditate on the Naam, the Name of the Lord. ਸਹਜੇ ਸਹਜਿ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਜਗਜੀਵਨੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਸੁੰਨਿ ਸਮਾਏ ॥੧॥ सहजे सहजि मिलिआ जगजीवनु नानक सुंनि समाए ॥१॥ Sėhje sahj mili▫ā jagjīvan Nānak sunn samā▫e. ||1|| In absolute ease and poise, one meets the Life of the World. O Nanak, one is absorbed in the state of absolute absorption. ||1|| ਸੰਗਤਿ ਸੰਤ ਮਿਲਾਏ ॥ संगति संत मिलाए ॥ Sangaṯ sanṯ milā▫e. Joining the Society of the Saints, ਹਰਿ ਸਰਿ ਨਿਰਮਲਿ ਨਾਏ ॥ हरि सरि निरमलि नाए ॥ Har sar nirmal nā▫e. I bathe in the Immaculate Pool of the Lord. ਨਿਰਮਲਿ ਜਲਿ ਨਾਏ ਮੈਲੁ ਗਵਾਏ ਭਏ ਪਵਿਤੁ ਸਰੀਰਾ ॥ निरमलि जलि नाए मैलु गवाए भए पवितु सरीरा ॥ Nirmal jal nā▫e mail gavā▫e bẖa▫e paviṯ sarīrā. Bathing in these Immaculate Waters, my filth is removed, and my body is purified and sanctified. ਦੁਰਮਤਿ ਮੈਲੁ ਗਈ ਭ੍ਰਮੁ ਭਾਗਾ ਹਉਮੈ ਬਿਨਠੀ ਪੀਰਾ ॥ दुरमति मैलु गई भ्रमु भागा हउमै बिनठी पीरा ॥ Ḏurmaṯ mail ga▫ī bẖaram bẖāgā ha▫umai binṯẖī pīrā. The filth of intellectual evil-mindedness is removed, doubt is gone, and the pain of egotism is dispelled. ਨਦਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਸਤਸੰਗਤਿ ਪਾਈ ਨਿਜ ਘਰਿ ਹੋਆ ਵਾਸਾ ॥ नदरि प्रभू सतसंगति पाई निज घरि होआ वासा ॥ Naḏar parabẖū saṯsangaṯ pā▫ī nij gẖar ho▫ā vāsā. By God's Grace, I found the Sat Sangat, the True Congregation. I dwell in the home of my own inner being. ਅੰਤਰਿ ਰਤਨੁ ਬੀਚਾਰੇ ॥ अंतरि रतनु बीचारे ॥ Anṯar raṯan bīcẖāre. One who, deep within, contemplates the jewel of the Naam, ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਪਿਆਰੇ ॥ गुरमुखि नामु पिआरे ॥ Gurmukẖ nām pi▫āre. that Gurmukh loves the Name of the Lord. ਹਰਿ ਮੰਗਲ ਰਸਿ ਰਸਨ ਰਸਾਏ ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮੁ ਪ੍ਰਗਾਸਾ ॥੨॥ हरि मंगल रसि रसन रसाए नानक नामु प्रगासा ॥२॥ Har mangal ras rasan rasā▫e Nānak nām pargāsā. ||2|| My tongue tastes the taste of the Lord's joyous song; O Nanak, the Naam shines forth brightly. ||2|| ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਸਬਦਿ ਨਿਸਤਾਰੇ ਅਗਿਆਨੁ ਅਧੇਰੁ ਗਵਾਇਆ ॥ हरि नामु पिआरे सबदि निसतारे अगिआनु अधेरु गवाइआ ॥ Har nām pi▫āre sabaḏ nisṯāre agi▫ān aḏẖer gavā▫i▫ā. Those who love the Lord's Name are emancipated through the Word of the Shabad. The darkness of ignorance is dispelled. ਗਿਆਨੁ ਪ੍ਰਚੰਡੁ ਬਲਿਆ ਘਟਿ ਚਾਨਣੁ ਘਰ ਮੰਦਰ ਸੋਹਾਇਆ ॥ गिआनु प्रचंडु बलिआ घटि चानणु घर मंदर सोहाइआ ॥ Gi▫ān parcẖand bali▫ā gẖat cẖānaṇ gẖar manḏar sohā▫i▫ā. Spiritual wisdom burns brilliantly, illuminating the heart; their homes and temples are embellished and blessed. ਤਨੁ ਮਨੁ ਅਰਪਿ ਸੀਗਾਰ ਬਣਾਏ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸਾਚੇ ਭਾਇਆ ॥ तनु मनु अरपि सीगार बणाए हरि प्रभ साचे भाइआ ॥ Ŧan man arap sīgār baṇā▫e har parabẖ sācẖe bẖā▫i▫ā. I have made my body and mind into adornments, and dedicated them to the True Lord God, pleasing Him. ਜੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਕਹੈ ਸੋਈ ਪਰੁ ਕੀਜੈ ਨਾਨਕ ਅੰਕਿ ਸਮਾਇਆ ॥੩॥ जो प्रभु कहै सोई परु कीजै नानक अंकि समाइआ ॥३॥ Jo parabẖ kahai so▫ī par kījai Nānak ank samā▫i▫ā. ||3|| Whatever God says, I gladly do. O Nanak, I have merged into the fiber of His Being. ||3|| ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਕਾਜੁ ਰਚਾਇਆ ॥ हरि प्रभि काजु रचाइआ ॥ Har parabẖ kāj racẖā▫i▫ā. The Lord God has arranged the marriage ceremony; ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਵੀਆਹਣਿ ਆਇਆ ॥ गुरमुखि वीआहणि आइआ ॥ Gurmukẖ vī▫āhaṇ ā▫i▫ā. He has come to marry the Gurmukh. ਵੀਆਹਣਿ ਆਇਆ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਹਰਿ ਪਾਇਆ ਸਾ ਧਨ ਕੰਤ ਪਿਆਰੀ ॥ वीआहणि आइआ गुरमुखि हरि पाइआ सा धन कंत पिआरी ॥ vī▫āhaṇ ā▫i▫ā gurmukẖ har pā▫i▫ā sā ḏẖan kanṯ pi▫ārī. He has come to marry the Gurmukh, who has found the Lord. That bride is very dear to her Lord. ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾ ਮਿਲਿ ਮੰਗਲ ਗਾਏ ਹਰਿ ਜੀਉ ਆਪਿ ਸਵਾਰੀ ॥ संत जना मिलि मंगल गाए हरि जीउ आपि सवारी ॥ Sanṯ janā mil mangal gā▫e har jī▫o āp savārī. The humble Saints join together and sing the songs of joy; the Dear Lord Himself has adorned the soul-bride. ਸੁਰਿ ਨਰ ਗਣ ਗੰਧਰਬ ਮਿਲਿ ਆਏ ਅਪੂਰਬ ਜੰਞ ਬਣਾਈ ॥ सुरि नर गण गंधरब मिलि आए अपूरब जंञ बणाई ॥ Sur nar gaṇ ganḏẖarab mil ā▫e apūrab jañ baṇā▫ī. The angels and mortal beings, the heavenly heralds and celestial singers, have come together and formed a wondrous wedding party. ਨਾਨਕ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਮੈ ਸਾਚਾ ਨਾ ਕਦੇ ਮਰੈ ਨ ਜਾਈ ॥੪॥੧॥੩॥ नानक प्रभु पाइआ मै साचा ना कदे मरै न जाई ॥४॥१॥३॥ Nānak parabẖ pā▫i▫ā mai sācẖā nā kaḏe marai na jā▫ī. ||4||1||3|| O Nanak, I have found my True Lord God, who never dies, and is not born. ||4||1||3||
