ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮਾ ਹਰਿ ਰੰਙੁ ਹੈ ਹਰਿ ਰੰਙੁ ਮਜੀਠੈ ਰੰਙੁ ॥ हरि नामा हरि रंङु है हरि रंङु मजीठै रंङु ॥ Har nāmā har rań hai har rań majīṯẖai rań. The Lord's Name is the Love of the Lord. The Lord's Love is the permanent color. ਸੂਹੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੪ ॥ सूही महला ४ ॥ Sūhī mėhlā 4. Soohee, Fourth Mehl: ਗੁਰਿ ਤੁਠੈ ਹਰਿ ਰੰਗੁ ਚਾੜਿਆ ਫਿਰਿ ਬਹੁੜਿ ਨ ਹੋਵੀ ਭੰਙੁ ॥੧॥ गुरि तुठै हरि रंगु चाड़िआ फिरि बहुड़ि न होवी भंङु ॥१॥ Gur ṯuṯẖai har rang cẖāṛi▫ā fir bahuṛ na hovī bẖań. ||1|| When the Guru is totally satisfied and pleased, He colors us with the Lord's Love; this color shall never fade away. ||1|| ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਹਰਿ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮਿ ਕਰਿ ਰੰਙੁ ॥ मेरे मन हरि राम नामि करि रंङु ॥ Mere man har rām nām kar rań. O my mind, enshrine love for the Name of the Lord. ਗੁਰਿ ਤੁਠੈ ਹਰਿ ਉਪਦੇਸਿਆ ਹਰਿ ਭੇਟਿਆ ਰਾਉ ਨਿਸੰਙੁ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ गुरि तुठै हरि उपदेसिआ हरि भेटिआ राउ निसंङु ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Gur ṯuṯẖai har upḏesi▫ā har bẖeti▫ā rā▫o nisań. ||1|| rahā▫o. The Guru, satisfied and pleased, taught me about the Lord, and my Sovereign Lord King met with me at once. ||1||Pause|| ਮੁੰਧ ਇਆਣੀ ਮਨਮੁਖੀ ਫਿਰਿ ਆਵਣ ਜਾਣਾ ਅੰਙੁ ॥ मुंध इआणी मनमुखी फिरि आवण जाणा अंङु ॥ Munḏẖ i▫āṇī manmukẖī fir āvaṇ jāṇā ań. The self-willed manmukh is like the ignorant bride, who comes and goes again and again in reincarnation. ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਚਿਤਿ ਨ ਆਇਓ ਮਨਿ ਦੂਜਾ ਭਾਉ ਸਹਲੰਙੁ ॥੨॥ हरि प्रभु चिति न आइओ मनि दूजा भाउ सहलंङु ॥२॥ Har parabẖ cẖiṯ na ā▫i▫o man ḏūjā bẖā▫o sahlanń. ||2|| The Lord God does not come into her consciousness, and her mind is stuck in the love of duality. ||2|| ਹਮ ਮੈਲੁ ਭਰੇ ਦੁਹਚਾਰੀਆ ਹਰਿ ਰਾਖਹੁ ਅੰਗੀ ਅੰਙੁ ॥ हम मैलु भरे दुहचारीआ हरि राखहु अंगी अंङु ॥ Ham mail bẖare ḏuhcẖārī▫ā har rākẖo angī ań. I am full of filth, and I practice evil deeds; O Lord, save me, be with me, merge me into Your Being! ਗੁਰਿ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਸਰਿ ਨਵਲਾਇਆ ਸਭਿ ਲਾਥੇ ਕਿਲਵਿਖ ਪੰਙੁ ॥੩॥ गुरि अम्रित सरि नवलाइआ सभि लाथे किलविख पंङु ॥३॥ Gur amriṯ sar navlā▫i▫ā sabẖ lāthe kilvikẖ pań. ||3|| The Guru has bathed me in the pool of Ambrosial Nectar, and all my dirty sins and mistakes have been washed away. ||3|| ਹਰਿ ਦੀਨਾ ਦੀਨ ਦਇਆਲ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਸਤਸੰਗਤਿ ਮੇਲਹੁ ਸੰਙੁ ॥ हरि दीना दीन दइआल प्रभु सतसंगति मेलहु संङु ॥ Har ḏīnā ḏīn ḏa▫i▫āl parabẖ saṯsangaṯ melhu sań. O Lord God, Merciful to the meek and the poor, please unite me with the Sat Sangat, the True Congregation.
