ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥ ੴ सतिगुर प्रसादि ॥ Ik▫oaʼnkār saṯgur parsāḏ. One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru: ਸੋਰਠਿ सोरठि Soraṯẖ Sorat'h: ਬਹੁ ਪਰਪੰਚ ਕਰਿ ਪਰ ਧਨੁ ਲਿਆਵੈ ॥ बहु परपंच करि पर धनु लिआवै ॥ Baho parpancẖ kar par ḏẖan li▫āvai. Practicing great hypocrisy, he acquires the wealth of others. ਸੁਤ ਦਾਰਾ ਪਹਿ ਆਨਿ ਲੁਟਾਵੈ ॥੧॥ सुत दारा पहि आनि लुटावै ॥१॥ Suṯ ḏārā pėh ān lutāvai. ||1|| Returning home, he squanders it on his wife and children. ||1|| ਮਨ ਮੇਰੇ ਭੂਲੇ ਕਪਟੁ ਨ ਕੀਜੈ ॥ मन मेरे भूले कपटु न कीजै ॥ Man mere bẖūle kapat na kījai. O my mind, do not practice deception, even inadvertently. ਅੰਤਿ ਨਿਬੇਰਾ ਤੇਰੇ ਜੀਅ ਪਹਿ ਲੀਜੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ अंति निबेरा तेरे जीअ पहि लीजै ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Anṯ niberā ṯere jī▫a pėh lījai. ||1|| rahā▫o. In the end, your own soul shall have to answer for its account. ||1||Pause|| ਛਿਨੁ ਛਿਨੁ ਤਨੁ ਛੀਜੈ ਜਰਾ ਜਨਾਵੈ ॥ छिनु छिनु तनु छीजै जरा जनावै ॥ Cẖẖin cẖẖin ṯan cẖẖījai jarā janāvai. Moment by moment, the body is wearing away, and old age is asserting itself. ਤਬ ਤੇਰੀ ਓਕ ਕੋਈ ਪਾਨੀਓ ਨ ਪਾਵੈ ॥੨॥ तब तेरी ओक कोई पानीओ न पावै ॥२॥ Ŧab ṯerī ok ko▫ī pānī▫o na pāvai. ||2|| And then, when you are old, no one shall pour water into your cup. ||2|| ਕਹਤੁ ਕਬੀਰੁ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀ ਤੇਰਾ ॥ कहतु कबीरु कोई नही तेरा ॥ Kahaṯ Kabīr ko▫ī nahī ṯerā. Says Kabeer, no one belongs to you. ਹਿਰਦੈ ਰਾਮੁ ਕੀ ਨ ਜਪਹਿ ਸਵੇਰਾ ॥੩॥੯॥ हिरदै रामु की न जपहि सवेरा ॥३॥९॥ Hirḏai rām kī na jāpėh saverā. ||3||9|| Why not chant the Lord's Name in your heart, when you are still young? ||3||9||
