ਸੰਤਾ ਨਾਲਿ ਵੈਰੁ ਕਮਾਵਦੇ ਦੁਸਟਾ ਨਾਲਿ ਮੋਹੁ ਪਿਆਰੁ ॥ संता नालि वैरु कमावदे दुसटा नालि मोहु पिआरु ॥ Sanṫaa naal vær kamaavḋé ḋustaa naal moh pi▫aar. They inflict their hatred upon the Saints, and they love the wicked sinners. ਮਃ ੩ ॥ मः ३ ॥ Mėhlaa 3. Third Mehl: ਅਗੈ ਪਿਛੈ ਸੁਖੁ ਨਹੀ ਮਰਿ ਜੰਮਹਿ ਵਾਰੋ ਵਾਰ ॥ अगै पिछै सुखु नही मरि जंमहि वारो वार ॥ Agæ pichʰæ sukʰ nahee mar jamėh vaaro vaar. They find no peace in either this world or the next; they are born only to die, again and again. ਤ੍ਰਿਸਨਾ ਕਦੇ ਨ ਬੁਝਈ ਦੁਬਿਧਾ ਹੋਇ ਖੁਆਰੁ ॥ त्रिसना कदे न बुझई दुबिधा होइ खुआरु ॥ Ṫarisnaa kaḋé na bujʰ▫ee ḋubiḋʰaa ho▫é kʰu▫aar. Their hunger is never satisfied, and they are ruined by duality. ਮੁਹ ਕਾਲੇ ਤਿਨਾ ਨਿੰਦਕਾ ਤਿਤੁ ਸਚੈ ਦਰਬਾਰਿ ॥ मुह काले तिना निंदका तितु सचै दरबारि ॥ Muh kaalé ṫinaa ninḋkaa ṫiṫ sachæ ḋarbaar. The faces of these slanderers are blackened in the Court of the True Lord. ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮ ਵਿਹੂਣਿਆ ਨਾ ਉਰਵਾਰਿ ਨ ਪਾਰਿ ॥੨॥ नानक नाम विहूणिआ ना उरवारि न पारि ॥२॥ Naanak naam vihooṇi▫aa naa urvaar na paar. ||2|| O Nanak! Without the Naam, they find no shelter on either this shore, or the one beyond. ||2||
