ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮੁ ਨ ਚੇਤਨੀ ਅਗਿਆਨੀ ਅੰਧੁਲੇ ਅਵਰੇ ਕਰਮ ਕਮਾਹਿ ॥ नानक नामु न चेतनी अगिआनी अंधुले अवरे करम कमाहि ॥ Nānak nām na cẖeṯnī agi▫ānī anḏẖule avre karam kamāhi. O Nanak, the blind, ignorant fools do not remember the Naam, the Name of the Lord; they involve themselves in other activities. ਸਲੋਕੁ ਮਃ ੩ ॥ सलोकु मः ३ ॥ Salok mėhlā 3. Shalok, Third Mehl: ਜਮ ਦਰਿ ਬਧੇ ਮਾਰੀਅਹਿ ਫਿਰਿ ਵਿਸਟਾ ਮਾਹਿ ਪਚਾਹਿ ॥੧॥ जम दरि बधे मारीअहि फिरि विसटा माहि पचाहि ॥१॥ Jam ḏar baḏẖe mārī▫ah fir vistā māhi pacẖāhi. ||1|| They are bound and gagged at the door of the Messenger of Death; they are punished, and in the end, they rot away in manure. ||1||
