ਮਨਮੁਖ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਨ ਸੇਵਿਆ ਦੁਖੁ ਲਗਾ ਬਹੁਤਾ ਆਇ ॥ मनमुख हरि नामु न सेविआ दुखु लगा बहुता आइ ॥ Manmukẖ har nām na sevi▫ā ḏukẖ lagā bahuṯā ā▫e. The self-willed manmukh does not serve the Lord's Name, and so he suffers in horrible pain. ਮਃ ੩ ॥ मः ३ ॥ Mėhlā 3. Third Mehl: ਅੰਤਰਿ ਅਗਿਆਨੁ ਅੰਧੇਰੁ ਹੈ ਸੁਧਿ ਨ ਕਾਈ ਪਾਇ ॥ अंतरि अगिआनु अंधेरु है सुधि न काई पाइ ॥ Anṯar agi▫ān anḏẖer hai suḏẖ na kā▫ī pā▫e. He is filled with the darkness of ignorance, and he does not understand anything. ਮਨਹਠਿ ਸਹਜਿ ਨ ਬੀਜਿਓ ਭੁਖਾ ਕਿ ਅਗੈ ਖਾਇ ॥ मनहठि सहजि न बीजिओ भुखा कि अगै खाइ ॥ Manhaṯẖ sahj na bīji▫o bẖukẖā kė agai kẖā▫e. Because of his stubborn mind, he does not plant the seeds of intuitive peace; what will he eat in the world hereafter, to satisfy his hunger? ਨਾਮੁ ਨਿਧਾਨੁ ਵਿਸਾਰਿਆ ਦੂਜੈ ਲਗਾ ਜਾਇ ॥ नामु निधानु विसारिआ दूजै लगा जाइ ॥ Nām niḏẖān visāri▫ā ḏūjai lagā jā▫e. He has forgotten the treasure of the Naam; he is caught in the love of duality. ਨਾਨਕ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਮਿਲਹਿ ਵਡਿਆਈਆ ਜੇ ਆਪੇ ਮੇਲਿ ਮਿਲਾਇ ॥੨॥ नानक गुरमुखि मिलहि वडिआईआ जे आपे मेलि मिलाइ ॥२॥ Nānak gurmukẖ milėh vaḏi▫ā▫ī▫ā je āpe mel milā▫e. ||2|| O Nanak, the Gurmukhs are honored with glory, when the Lord Himself unites them in His Union. ||2|| |
