ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਤੇ ਜੋ ਮੁਹ ਫਿਰੇ ਸੇ ਬਧੇ ਦੁਖ ਸਹਾਹਿ ॥ सतिगुर ते जो मुह फिरे से बधे दुख सहाहि ॥ Saṯgur ṯe jo muh fire se baḏẖe ḏukẖ sahāhi. Those who turn their faces away from the True Guru, suffer in sorrow and bondage. ਸਲੋਕੁ ਮਃ ੩ ॥ सलोकु मः ३ ॥ Salok mėhlā 3. Shalok, Third Mehl: ਫਿਰਿ ਫਿਰਿ ਮਿਲਣੁ ਨ ਪਾਇਨੀ ਜੰਮਹਿ ਤੈ ਮਰਿ ਜਾਹਿ ॥ फिरि फिरि मिलणु न पाइनी जमहि तै मरि जाहि ॥ Fir fir milaṇ na pā▫inī jamėh ṯai mar jāhi. Again and again, they are born only to die; they cannot meet their Lord. ਸਹਸਾ ਰੋਗੁ ਨ ਛੋਡਈ ਦੁਖ ਹੀ ਮਹਿ ਦੁਖ ਪਾਹਿ ॥ सहसा रोगु न छोडई दुख ही महि दुख पाहि ॥ Sahsā rog na cẖẖod▫ī ḏukẖ hī mėh ḏukẖ pāhi. The disease of doubt does not depart, and they find only pain and more pain. ਨਾਨਕ ਨਦਰੀ ਬਖਸਿ ਲੇਹਿ ਸਬਦੇ ਮੇਲਿ ਮਿਲਾਹਿ ॥੧॥ नानक नदरी बखसि लेहि सबदे मेलि मिलाहि ॥१॥ Nānak naḏrī bakẖas lehi sabḏe mel milāhi. ||1|| O Nanak, if the Gracious Lord forgives, then one is united in Union with the Word of the Shabad. ||1||
