ਹਰਿ ਆਪਿ ਵਰਤੈ ਆਪਿ ਹਰਿ ਆਪਿ ਬੁਲਾਇਦਾ ॥ हरि आपि वरतै आपि हरि आपि बुलाइदा ॥ Har āp varṯai āp har āp bulā▫iḏā. The Lord Himself is pervading everywhere; the Lord Himself causes us to chant His Name. ਪਉੜੀ ॥ पउड़ी ॥ Pa▫oṛī. Pauree: ਹਰਿ ਆਪੇ ਸ੍ਰਿਸਟਿ ਸਵਾਰਿ ਸਿਰਿ ਧੰਧੈ ਲਾਇਦਾ ॥ हरि आपे स्रिसटि सवारि सिरि धंधै लाइदा ॥ Har āpe sarisat savār sir ḏẖanḏẖai lā▫iḏā. The Lord Himself created the creation; He commits all to their tasks. ਇਕਨਾ ਭਗਤੀ ਲਾਇ ਇਕਿ ਆਪਿ ਖੁਆਇਦਾ ॥ इकना भगती लाइ इकि आपि खुआइदा ॥ Iknā bẖagṯī lā▫e ik āp kẖu▫ā▫iḏā. He engages some in devotional worship, and others, He causes to stray. ਇਕਨਾ ਮਾਰਗਿ ਪਾਇ ਇਕਿ ਉਝੜਿ ਪਾਇਦਾ ॥ इकना मारगि पाइ इकि उझड़ि पाइदा ॥ Iknā mārag pā▫e ik ujẖaṛ pā▫iḏā. He places some on the Path, while He leads others into the wilderness. ਜਨੁ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਏ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਇਦਾ ॥੫॥ जनु नानकु नामु धिआए गुरमुखि गुण गाइदा ॥५॥ Jan Nānak nām ḏẖi▫ā▫e gurmukẖ guṇ gā▫iḏā. ||5|| Servant Nanak meditates on the Naam, the Name of the Lord; as Gurmukh, he sings the Glorious Praises of the Lord. ||5||
