ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮਿ ਨਿਬਾਹੀ ਪੂਰੀ ॥ पारब्रहमि निबाही पूरी ॥ Pārbarahm nibāhī pūrī. The Supreme Lord God has stood by me and fulfilled me, ਸੋਰਠਿ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ सोरठि महला ५ ॥ Soraṯẖ mėhlā 5. Sorat'h, Fifth Mehl: ਕਾਈ ਬਾਤ ਨ ਰਹੀਆ ਊਰੀ ॥ काई बात न रहीआ ऊरी ॥ Kā▫ī bāṯ na rahī▫ā ūrī. and nothing is left unfinished. ਗੁਰਿ ਚਰਨ ਲਾਇ ਨਿਸਤਾਰੇ ॥ गुरि चरन लाइ निसतारे ॥ Gur cẖaran lā▫e nisṯāre. Attached to the Guru's feet, I am saved; ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਸਮ੍ਹ੍ਹਾਰੇ ॥੧॥ हरि हरि नामु सम्हारे ॥१॥ Har har nām samĥāre. ||1|| I contemplate and cherish the Name of the Lord, Har, Har. ||1|| ਅਪਨੇ ਦਾਸ ਕਾ ਸਦਾ ਰਖਵਾਲਾ ॥ अपने दास का सदा रखवाला ॥ Apne ḏās kā saḏā rakẖvālā. He is forever the Savior of His slaves. ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਅਪੁਨੇ ਕਰਿ ਰਾਖੇ ਮਾਤ ਪਿਤਾ ਜਿਉ ਪਾਲਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ करि किरपा अपुने करि राखे मात पिता जिउ पाला ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Kar kirpā apune kar rākẖe māṯ piṯā ji▫o pālā. ||1|| rahā▫o. Bestowing His Mercy, He made me His own and preserved me; like a mother or father, He cherishes me. ||1||Pause|| ਵਡਭਾਗੀ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਪਾਇਆ ॥ वडभागी सतिगुरु पाइआ ॥ vadbẖāgī saṯgur pā▫i▫ā. By great good fortune, I found the True Guru, ਹਰਿ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਬਾਣੀ ਗਾਵੈ ॥ हरि अम्रित बाणी गावै ॥ Har amriṯ baṇī gāvai. He sings the Ambrosial Word of the Guru's Bani, ਜਪਿ ਜੀਵਹਿ ਸੇ ਵਡਭਾਗਾ ॥੨॥ जपि जीवहि से वडभागा ॥२॥ Jap jīvėh se vadbẖāgā. ||2|| One who lives in this meditation is very fortunate indeed. ||2|| ਹਰਿ ਭਗਤਿ ਭਾਇ ਚਿਤੁ ਲਾਗਾ ॥ हरि भगति भाइ चितु लागा ॥ Har bẖagaṯ bẖā▫e cẖiṯ lāgā. My consciousness is focused on loving, devotional worship of the Lord. ਜਿਨਿ ਜਮ ਕਾ ਪੰਥੁ ਮਿਟਾਇਆ ॥ जिनि जम का पंथु मिटाइआ ॥ Jin jam kā panth mitā▫i▫ā. who obliterated the path of the Messenger of Death. ਸਾਧਾ ਕੀ ਧੂਰੀ ਨਾਵੈ ॥ साधा की धूरी नावै ॥ Sāḏẖā kī ḏẖūrī nāvai. and bathes in the dust of the feet of the Holy. ਅਪੁਨਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਆਪੇ ਦੀਆ ॥ अपुना नामु आपे दीआ ॥ Apunā nām āpe ḏī▫ā. He Himself bestows His Name. ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕਰਣਹਾਰ ਰਖਿ ਲੀਆ ॥੩॥ प्रभ करणहार रखि लीआ ॥३॥ Parabẖ karanhār rakẖ lī▫ā. ||3|| God, the Creator, saves us. ||3|| ਹਰਿ ਦਰਸਨ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਅਧਾਰਾ ॥ हरि दरसन प्रान अधारा ॥ Har ḏarsan parān aḏẖārā. The Blessed Vision of the Lord's Darshan is the support of the breath of life. ਇਹੁ ਪੂਰਨ ਬਿਮਲ ਬੀਚਾਰਾ ॥ इहु पूरन बिमल बीचारा ॥ Ih pūran bimal bīcẖārā. This is the perfect, pure wisdom. ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ ॥ करि किरपा अंतरजामी ॥ Kar kirpā anṯarjāmī. The Inner-knower, the Searcher of hearts, has granted His Mercy; ਦਾਸ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਰਣਿ ਸੁਆਮੀ ॥੪॥੮॥੫੮॥ दास नानक सरणि सुआमी ॥४॥८॥५८॥ Ḏās Nānak saraṇ su▫āmī. ||4||8||58|| slave Nanak seeks the Sanctuary of his Lord and Master. ||4||8||58|| ਹਰਿ ਸੰਗਿ ਸਹਾਈ ਪਾਇਆ ॥ हरि संगि सहाई पाइआ ॥ Har sang sahā▫ī pā▫i▫ā. I have obtained the Lord as my companion, my support, my best friend. ਗੁਰਿ ਪੂਰੈ ਚਰਨੀ ਲਾਇਆ ॥ गुरि पूरै चरनी लाइआ ॥ Gur pūrai cẖarnī lā▫i▫ā. The Perfect Guru has attached me to His feet.
