ਸਿਮਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਗੁਰੁ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਅਪਨਾ ਸਗਲਾ ਦੂਖੁ ਮਿਟਾਇਆ ॥ सिमरि सिमरि गुरु सतिगुरु अपना सगला दूखु मिटाइआ ॥ Simar simar gur saṫgur apnaa saglaa ḋookʰ mitaa▫i▫aa. Meditating, meditating in remembrance of my Guru, the True Guru, all pains have been eradicated. ਸੋਰਠਿ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ सोरठि महला ५ ॥ Soratʰ mėhlaa 5. Sorat’h, Fifth Mehl: ਤਾਪ ਰੋਗ ਗਏ ਗੁਰ ਬਚਨੀ ਮਨ ਇਛੇ ਫਲ ਪਾਇਆ ॥੧॥ ताप रोग गए गुर बचनी मन इछे फल पाइआ ॥१॥ Ṫaap rog ga▫é gur bachnee man ichʰé fal paa▫i▫aa. ||1|| The fever and the disease are gone, through the Word of the Guru’s Teachings, and I have obtained the fruits of my mind’s desires. ||1|| ਮੇਰਾ ਗੁਰੁ ਪੂਰਾ ਸੁਖਦਾਤਾ ॥ मेरा गुरु पूरा सुखदाता ॥ Méraa gur pooraa sukʰ▫ḋaaṫa. My Perfect Guru is the Giver of peace. ਕਰਣ ਕਾਰਣ ਸਮਰਥ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਪੂਰਨ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਬਿਧਾਤਾ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ करण कारण समरथ सुआमी पूरन पुरखु बिधाता ॥ रहाउ ॥ Karaṇ kaaraṇ samraṫʰ su▫aamee pooran purakʰ biḋʰaaṫaa. Rahaa▫o. He is the Doer, the Cause of all causes, the Almighty Lord and Master, the Perfect Primal Lord, the Architect of Destiny. ||Pause|| ਅਨੰਦ ਬਿਨੋਦ ਮੰਗਲ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵਹੁ ਗੁਰ ਨਾਨਕ ਭਏ ਦਇਆਲਾ ॥ अनंद बिनोद मंगल गुण गावहु गुर नानक भए दइआला ॥ Anand binoḋ mangal guṇ gaavhu gur Naanak bʰa▫é ḋa▫i▫aalaa. Sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord in bliss, joy and ecstasy; Guru Nanak has become kind and compassionate. ਜੈ ਜੈ ਕਾਰ ਭਏ ਜਗ ਭੀਤਰਿ ਹੋਆ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਰਖਵਾਲਾ ॥੨॥੧੫॥੪੩॥ जै जै कार भए जग भीतरि होआ पारब्रहमु रखवाला ॥२॥१५॥४३॥ Jæ jæ kaar bʰa▫é jag bʰeeṫar ho▫aa paarbarahm rakʰvaalaa. ||2||15||43|| Shouts of cheers and congratulations ring out all over the world; the Supreme Lord God has become my Savior and Protector. ||2||15||43||
