ਸੋਰਠਿ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ਪੰਚਪਦਾ ॥ सोरठि महला ५ पंचपदा ॥ Soraṯẖ mėhlā 5 pancẖpaḏā. Sorat'h, Fifth Mehl, Panch-Padas: ਬਿਨਸੈ ਮੋਹੁ ਮੇਰਾ ਅਰੁ ਤੇਰਾ ਬਿਨਸੈ ਅਪਨੀ ਧਾਰੀ ॥੧॥ बिनसै मोहु मेरा अरु तेरा बिनसै अपनी धारी ॥१॥ Binsai moh merā ar ṯerā binsai apnī ḏẖārī. ||1|| May my emotional attachment, my sense of mine and yours, and my self-conceit be dispelled. ||1|| ਜਿਤੁ ਹਉਮੈ ਗਰਬੁ ਨਿਵਾਰੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ जितु हउमै गरबु निवारी ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Jiṯ ha▫umai garab nivārī. ||1|| rahā▫o. by which my egotism and pride might be eliminated. ||1||Pause|| ਸੰਤਹੁ ਇਹਾ ਬਤਾਵਹੁ ਕਾਰੀ ॥ संतहु इहा बतावहु कारी ॥ Sanṯahu ihā baṯāvhu kārī. O Saints, show me such a way, ਸਰਬ ਭੂਤ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਕਰਿ ਮਾਨਿਆ ਹੋਵਾਂ ਸਗਲ ਰੇਨਾਰੀ ॥੨॥ सरब भूत पारब्रहमु करि मानिआ होवां सगल रेनारी ॥२॥ Sarab bẖūṯ pārbarahm kar māni▫ā hovāʼn sagal renārī. ||2|| I see the Supreme Lord God in all beings, and I am the dust of all. ||2|| ਪੇਖਿਓ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਜੀਉ ਅਪੁਨੈ ਸੰਗੇ ਚੂਕੈ ਭੀਤਿ ਭ੍ਰਮਾਰੀ ॥੩॥ पेखिओ प्रभ जीउ अपुनै संगे चूकै भीति भ्रमारी ॥३॥ Pekẖi▫o parabẖ jī▫o apunai sange cẖūkai bẖīṯ bẖarmārī. ||3|| I see God always with me, and the wall of doubt has been shattered. ||3|| ਅਉਖਧੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਜਲੁ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਪਾਈਐ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੁਆਰੀ ॥੪॥ अउखधु नामु निरमल जलु अम्रितु पाईऐ गुरू दुआरी ॥४॥ A▫ukẖaḏẖ nām nirmal jal amriṯ pā▫ī▫ai gurū ḏu▫ārī. ||4|| The medicine of the Naam, and the Immaculate Water of Ambrosial Nectar, are obtained through the Guru's Gate. ||4|| ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਜਿਸੁ ਮਸਤਕਿ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਤਿਸੁ ਗੁਰ ਮਿਲਿ ਰੋਗ ਬਿਦਾਰੀ ॥੫॥੧੭॥੨੮॥ कहु नानक जिसु मसतकि लिखिआ तिसु गुर मिलि रोग बिदारी ॥५॥१७॥२८॥ Kaho Nānak jis masṯak likẖi▫ā ṯis gur mil rog biḏārī. ||5||17||28|| Says Nanak, one who has such pre-ordained destiny inscribed upon his forehead, meets with the Guru, and his diseases are cured. ||5||17||28||
