By The Grace Of The True Guru: ਸੋਰਠਿ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ਘਰੁ ੨ ਚਉਪਦੇ सोरठि महला ५ घरु २ चउपदे Soraṯẖ mėhlā 5 gẖar 2 cẖa▫upḏe Sorat'h, Fifth Mehl, Second House, Chau-Padas: ਸੁਣਿ ਮੀਤਾ ਜੀਉ ਹਮਾਰਾ ਬਲਿ ਬਲਿ ਜਾਸੀ ਹਰਿ ਦਰਸਨੁ ਦੇਹੁ ਦਿਖਾਈ ॥੧॥ सुणि मीता जीउ हमारा बलि बलि जासी हरि दरसनु देहु दिखाई ॥१॥ Suṇ mīṯā jī▫o hamārā bal bal jāsī har ḏarsan ḏeh ḏikẖā▫ī. ||1|| Listen, friends: my soul is a sacrifice, a sacrifice to You; O Lord, reveal to me the Blessed Vision of Your Darshan. ||1|| ਏਕੁ ਪਿਤਾ ਏਕਸ ਕੇ ਹਮ ਬਾਰਿਕ ਤੂ ਮੇਰਾ ਗੁਰ ਹਾਈ ॥ एकु पिता एकस के हम बारिक तू मेरा गुर हाई ॥ Ėk piṯā ekas ke ham bārik ṯū merā gur hā▫ī. The One God is our father; we are the children of the One God. You are our Guru. ਸੁਣਿ ਮੀਤਾ ਧੂਰੀ ਕਉ ਬਲਿ ਜਾਈ ॥ सुणि मीता धूरी कउ बलि जाई ॥ Suṇ mīṯā ḏẖūrī ka▫o bal jā▫ī. Listen, friends: I am a sacrifice to the dust of Your feet. ਇਹੁ ਮਨੁ ਤੇਰਾ ਭਾਈ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ इहु मनु तेरा भाई ॥ रहाउ ॥ Ih man ṯerā bẖā▫ī. Rahā▫o. This mind is yours, O Siblings of Destiny. ||Pause|| ਪਾਵ ਮਲੋਵਾ ਮਲਿ ਮਲਿ ਧੋਵਾ ਇਹੁ ਮਨੁ ਤੈ ਕੂ ਦੇਸਾ ॥ पाव मलोवा मलि मलि धोवा इहु मनु तै कू देसा ॥ Pāv malovā mal mal ḏẖovā ih man ṯai kū ḏesā. I wash your feet, I massage and clean them; I give this mind to you. ਸੁਣਿ ਮੀਤਾ ਹਉ ਤੇਰੀ ਸਰਣਾਈ ਆਇਆ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਮਿਲਉ ਦੇਹੁ ਉਪਦੇਸਾ ॥੨॥ सुणि मीता हउ तेरी सरणाई आइआ प्रभ मिलउ देहु उपदेसा ॥२॥ Suṇ mīṯā ha▫o ṯerī sarṇā▫ī ā▫i▫ā parabẖ mila▫o ḏeh upḏesā. ||2|| Listen, friends: I have come to Your Sanctuary; teach me, that I might unite with God. ||2|| ਮਾਨੁ ਨ ਕੀਜੈ ਸਰਣਿ ਪਰੀਜੈ ਕਰੈ ਸੁ ਭਲਾ ਮਨਾਈਐ ॥ मानु न कीजै सरणि परीजै करै सु भला मनाईऐ ॥ Mān na kījai saraṇ parījai karai so bẖalā manā▫ī▫ai. Do not be proud; seek His Sanctuary, and accept as good all that He does. ਸੁਣਿ ਮੀਤਾ ਜੀਉ ਪਿੰਡੁ ਸਭੁ ਤਨੁ ਅਰਪੀਜੈ ਇਉ ਦਰਸਨੁ ਹਰਿ ਜੀਉ ਪਾਈਐ ॥੩॥ सुणि मीता जीउ पिंडु सभु तनु अरपीजै इउ दरसनु हरि जीउ पाईऐ ॥३॥ Suṇ mīṯā jī▫o pind sabẖ ṯan arpījai i▫o ḏarsan har jī▫o pā▫ī▫ai. ||3|| Listen, friends: dedicate your soul, body and your whole being to Him; thus you shall receive the Blessed Vision of His Darshan. ||3|| ਭਇਓ ਅਨੁਗ੍ਰਹੁ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ਸੰਤਨ ਕੈ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮਾ ਹੈ ਮੀਠਾ ॥ भइओ अनुग्रहु प्रसादि संतन कै हरि नामा है मीठा ॥ Bẖa▫i▫o anūgrahu parsāḏ sanṯan kai har nāmā hai mīṯẖā. He has shown mercy to me, by the Grace of the Saints; the Lord's Name is sweet to me. ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਕਉ ਗੁਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਧਾਰੀ ਸਭੁ ਅਕੁਲ ਨਿਰੰਜਨੁ ਡੀਠਾ ॥੪॥੧॥੧੨॥ जन नानक कउ गुरि किरपा धारी सभु अकुल निरंजनु डीठा ॥४॥१॥१२॥ Jan Nānak ka▫o gur kirpā ḏẖārī sabẖ akul niranjan dīṯẖā. ||4||1||12|| The Guru has shown mercy to servant Nanak; I see the casteless, immaculate Lord everywhere. ||4||1||12|| ਕੋਟਿ ਬ੍ਰਹਮੰਡ ਕੋ ਠਾਕੁਰੁ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਸਰਬ ਜੀਆ ਕਾ ਦਾਤਾ ਰੇ ॥ कोटि ब्रहमंड को ठाकुरु सुआमी सरब जीआ का दाता रे ॥ Kot barahmand ko ṯẖākur su▫āmī sarab jī▫ā kā ḏāṯā re. God is the Lord and Master of millions of universes; He is the Giver of all beings.
