ਮਾਈ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੇ ਚਰਨ ਨਿਹਾਰਉ ॥ माई प्रभ के चरन निहारउ ॥ Mā▫ī parabẖ ke cẖaran nihāra▫o. O mother, I long to see the Feet of God. ਦੇਵਗੰਧਾਰੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ देवगंधारी महला ५ ॥ Ḏevganḏẖārī mėhlā 5. Dayv-Gandhaaree, Fifth Mehl: ਸਾਧੂ ਧੂਰਿ ਲਾਈ ਮੁਖਿ ਮਸਤਕਿ ਕਾਮ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਬਿਖੁ ਜਾਰਉ ॥ साधू धूरि लाई मुखि मसतकि काम क्रोध बिखु जारउ ॥ Sāḏẖū ḏẖūr lā▫ī mukẖ masṯak kām kroḏẖ bikẖ jāra▫o. Applying the dust of the feet of the Holy to my face and forehead, I burn away the poison of sexual desire and anger. ਕਰਹੁ ਅਨੁਗ੍ਰਹੁ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਤੇ ਕਬਹੁ ਨ ਡਾਰਉ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ करहु अनुग्रहु सुआमी मेरे मन ते कबहु न डारउ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Karahu anūgrahu su▫āmī mere man ṯe kabahu na dāra▫o. ||1|| rahā▫o. Be Merciful to me, O my Lord and Master, that I might never forsake them from my mind. ||1||Pause|| ਸਭ ਤੇ ਨੀਚੁ ਆਤਮ ਕਰਿ ਮਾਨਉ ਮਨ ਮਹਿ ਇਹੁ ਸੁਖੁ ਧਾਰਉ ॥੧॥ सभ ते नीचु आतम करि मानउ मन महि इहु सुखु धारउ ॥१॥ Sabẖ ṯe nīcẖ āṯam kar mān▫o man mėh ih sukẖ ḏẖāra▫o. ||1|| I judge myself to be the lowest of all; in this way, I instill peace within my mind. ||1|| ਗੁਨ ਗਾਵਹ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਅਬਿਨਾਸੀ ਕਲਮਲ ਸਗਲੇ ਝਾਰਉ ॥ गुन गावह ठाकुर अबिनासी कलमल सगले झारउ ॥ Gun gāvah ṯẖākur abẖināsī kalmal sagle jẖāra▫o. I sing the Glorious Praises of the Imperishable Lord and Master, and I shake off all my sins. ਨਾਮ ਨਿਧਾਨੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਦਾਨੁ ਪਾਵਉ ਕੰਠਿ ਲਾਇ ਉਰਿ ਧਾਰਉ ॥੨॥੧੯॥ नाम निधानु नानक दानु पावउ कंठि लाइ उरि धारउ ॥२॥१९॥ Nām niḏẖān Nānak ḏān pāva▫o kanṯẖ lā▫e ur ḏẖāra▫o. ||2||19|| I have found the gift of the treasure of the Naam, O Nanak; I hug it close, and enshrine it in my heart. ||2||19||
