ਸੰਤ ਜਨਹੁ ਸੁਣਿ ਭਾਈਹੋ ਛੂਟਨੁ ਸਾਚੈ ਨਾਇ ॥

ਸੰਤ ਜਨਹੁ ਸੁਣਿ ਭਾਈਹੋ ਛੂਟਨੁ ਸਾਚੈ ਨਾਇ
संत जनहु सुणि भाईहो छूटनु साचै नाइ ॥
Sanṯ janhu suṇ bẖā▫īho cẖẖūtan sācẖai nā▫e.
O Saints, O Siblings of Destiny, listen: release comes only through the True Name.

ਸਿਰੀਰਾਗੁ ਮਹਲਾ
सिरीरागु महला ५ ॥
Sirīrāg mėhlā 5.
Siree Raag, Fifth Mehl:

ਆਗੈ ਦਰਗਹਿ ਮੰਨੀਅਹਿ ਮਿਲੈ ਨਿਥਾਵੇ ਥਾਉ ॥੧॥
आगै दरगहि मंनीअहि मिलै निथावे थाउ ॥१॥
Āgai ḏargahi manī▫ah milai nithāve thā▫o. ||1||
Hereafter, you shall be honored in the Court of the Lord; there, even the homeless find a home. ||1||

ਗੁਰ ਕੇ ਚਰਣ ਸਰੇਵਣੇ ਤੀਰਥ ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਨਾਉ
गुर के चरण सरेवणे तीरथ हरि का नाउ ॥
Gur ke cẖaraṇ sarevṇe ṯirath har kā nā▫o.
Worship the Feet of the Guru. Let the Name of the Lord be your sacred shrine of pilgrimage.

ਭਾਈ ਰੇ ਸਾਚੀ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਸੇਵ
भाई रे साची सतिगुर सेव ॥
Bẖā▫ī re sācẖī saṯgur sev.
O Siblings of Destiny, service to the True Guru alone is True.

ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਤੁਠੈ ਪਾਈਐ ਪੂਰਨ ਅਲਖ ਅਭੇਵ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ
सतिगुर तुठै पाईऐ पूरन अलख अभेव ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Saṯgur ṯuṯẖai pā▫ī▫ai pūran alakẖ abẖev. ||1|| rahā▫o.
When the True Guru is pleased, we obtain the Perfect, Unseen, Unknowable Lord. ||1||Pause||

ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਵਿਟਹੁ ਵਾਰਿਆ ਜਿਨਿ ਦਿਤਾ ਸਚੁ ਨਾਉ
सतिगुर विटहु वारिआ जिनि दिता सचु नाउ ॥
Saṯgur vitahu vāri▫ā jin ḏiṯā sacẖ nā▫o.
I am a sacrifice to the True Guru, who has bestowed the True Name.

ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਸਚੁ ਸਲਾਹਣਾ ਸਚੇ ਕੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਉ
अनदिनु सचु सलाहणा सचे के गुण गाउ ॥
An▫ḏin sacẖ salāhṇā sacẖe ke guṇ gā▫o.
Night and day, I praise the True One; I sing the Glorious Praises of the True One.

ਸਚੁ ਖਾਣਾ ਸਚੁ ਪੈਨਣਾ ਸਚੇ ਸਚਾ ਨਾਉ ॥੨॥
सचु खाणा सचु पैनणा सचे सचा नाउ ॥२॥
Sacẖ kẖāṇā sacẖ painṇā sacẖe sacẖā nā▫o. ||2||
True is the food, and true are the clothes, of those who chant the True Name of the True One. ||2||

ਸਾਸਿ ਗਿਰਾਸਿ ਵਿਸਰੈ ਸਫਲੁ ਮੂਰਤਿ ਗੁਰੁ ਆਪਿ
सासि गिरासि न विसरै सफलु मूरति गुरु आपि ॥
Sās girās na visrai safal mūraṯ gur āp.
With each breath and morsel of food, do not forget the Guru, the Embodiment of Fulfillment.

ਗੁਰ ਜੇਵਡੁ ਅਵਰੁ ਦਿਸਈ ਆਠ ਪਹਰ ਤਿਸੁ ਜਾਪਿ
गुर जेवडु अवरु न दिसई आठ पहर तिसु जापि ॥
Gur jevad avar na ḏis▫ī āṯẖ pahar ṯis jāp.
None is seen to be as great as the Guru. Meditate on Him twenty-four hours a day.

ਨਦਰਿ ਕਰੇ ਤਾ ਪਾਈਐ ਸਚੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਗੁਣਤਾਸਿ ॥੩॥
नदरि करे ता पाईऐ सचु नामु गुणतासि ॥३॥
Naḏar kare ṯā pā▫ī▫ai sacẖ nām guṇṯās. ||3||
As He casts His Glance of Grace, we obtain the True Name, the Treasure of Excellence. ||3||

ਗੁਰੁ ਪਰਮੇਸਰੁ ਏਕੁ ਹੈ ਸਭ ਮਹਿ ਰਹਿਆ ਸਮਾਇ
गुरु परमेसरु एकु है सभ महि रहिआ समाइ ॥
Gur parmesar ek hai sabẖ mėh rahi▫ā samā▫e.
The Guru and the Transcendent Lord are one and the same, pervading and permeating amongst all.

ਜਿਨ ਕਉ ਪੂਰਬਿ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਸੇਈ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਇ
जिन कउ पूरबि लिखिआ सेई नामु धिआइ ॥
Jin ka▫o pūrab likẖi▫ā se▫ī nām ḏẖi▫ā▫e.
Those who have such pre-ordained destiny, meditate on the Naam.

ਨਾਨਕ ਗੁਰ ਸਰਣਾਗਤੀ ਮਰੈ ਆਵੈ ਜਾਇ ॥੪॥੩੦॥੧੦੦॥
नानक गुर सरणागती मरै न आवै जाइ ॥४॥३०॥१००॥
Nānak gur sarṇāgaṯī marai na āvai jā▫e. ||4||30||100||
Nanak seeks the Sanctuary of the Guru, who does not die, or come and go in reincarnation. ||4||30||100||
