ਬਜਰ ਕਪਾਟ ਕਾਇਆ ਗੜ੍ਹ੍ਹ ਭੀਤਰਿ ਕੂੜੁ ਕੁਸਤੁ ਅਭਿਮਾਨੀ ॥ बजर कपाट काइआ गड़्ह भीतरि कूड़ु कुसतु अभिमानी ॥ Bajar kapāt kā▫i▫ā gaṛĥ bẖīṯar kūṛ kusaṯ abẖimānī. Within the fortress of body, are the hard and rigid doors of falsehood, deception and pride. ਪਉੜੀ ॥ पउड़ी ॥ Pa▫oṛī. Pauree: ਭਰਮਿ ਭੂਲੇ ਨਦਰਿ ਨ ਆਵਨੀ ਮਨਮੁਖ ਅੰਧ ਅਗਿਆਨੀ ॥ भरमि भूले नदरि न आवनी मनमुख अंध अगिआनी ॥ Bẖaram bẖūle naḏar na āvnī manmukẖ anḏẖ agi▫ānī. Deluded by doubt, the blind and ignorant self-willed manmukhs cannot see them. ਉਪਾਇ ਕਿਤੈ ਨ ਲਭਨੀ ਕਰਿ ਭੇਖ ਥਕੇ ਭੇਖਵਾਨੀ ॥ उपाइ कितै न लभनी करि भेख थके भेखवानी ॥ Upā▫e kiṯai na labẖnī kar bẖekẖ thake bẖekẖvānī. They cannot be found by any efforts; wearing their religious robes, the wearers have grown weary of trying. ਗੁਰ ਸਬਦੀ ਖੋਲਾਈਅਨ੍ਹ੍ਹਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਜਪਾਨੀ ॥ गुर सबदी खोलाईअन्हि हरि नामु जपानी ॥ Gur sabḏī kẖolā▫ī▫aniĥ har nām japānī. The doors are opened only by the Word of the Guru's Shabad, and then, one chants the Name of the Lord. ਹਰਿ ਜੀਉ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਬਿਰਖੁ ਹੈ ਜਿਨ ਪੀਆ ਤੇ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤਾਨੀ ॥੧੪॥ हरि जीउ अम्रित बिरखु है जिन पीआ ते त्रिपतानी ॥१४॥ Har jī▫o amriṯ birakẖ hai jin pī▫ā ṯe ṯaripṯānī. ||14|| The Dear Lord is the Tree of Ambrosial Nectar; those who drink in this Nectar are satisfied. ||14||
