ਏ ਮਨਾ ਅਤਿ ਲੋਭੀਆ ਨਿਤ ਲੋਭੇ ਰਾਤਾ ॥ ए मना अति लोभीआ नित लोभे राता ॥ Ė manā aṯ lobẖī▫ā niṯ lobẖe rāṯā. O my utterly greedy mind, you are constantly engrossed in greed. ਪਉੜੀ ॥ पउड़ी ॥ Pa▫oṛī. Pauree: ਅਗੈ ਨਾਉ ਜਾਤਿ ਨ ਜਾਇਸੀ ਮਨਮੁਖਿ ਦੁਖੁ ਖਾਤਾ ॥ अगै नाउ जाति न जाइसी मनमुखि दुखु खाता ॥ Agai nā▫o jāṯ na jā▫isī manmukẖ ḏukẖ kẖāṯā. Your name and social status shall not go with you hereafter; the self-willed manmukh is consumed by pain. ਮਾਇਆ ਮਨਸਾ ਮੋਹਣੀ ਦਹ ਦਿਸ ਫਿਰਾਤਾ ॥ माइआ मनसा मोहणी दह दिस फिराता ॥ Mā▫i▫ā mansā mohṇī ḏah ḏis firāṯā. In your desire for the enticing Maya, you wander in the ten directions. ਰਸਨਾ ਹਰਿ ਰਸੁ ਨ ਚਖਿਓ ਫੀਕਾ ਬੋਲਾਤਾ ॥ रसना हरि रसु न चखिओ फीका बोलाता ॥ Rasnā har ras na cẖakẖi▫o fīkā bolāṯā. Your tongue does not taste the sublime essence of the Lord; it utters only insipid words. ਜਿਨਾ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਚਾਖਿਆ ਸੇ ਜਨ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤਾਤਾ ॥੧੫॥ जिना गुरमुखि अम्रितु चाखिआ से जन त्रिपताता ॥१५॥ Jinā gurmukẖ amriṯ cẖākẖi▫ā se jan ṯaripṯāṯā. ||15|| Those Gurmukhs who drink in the Ambrosial Nectar are satisfied. ||15||
