ਇਹੁ ਮਨੁ ਕੇਤੜਿਆ ਜੁਗ ਭਰਮਿਆ ਥਿਰੁ ਰਹੈ ਨ ਆਵੈ ਜਾਇ ॥ इहु मनु केतड़िआ जुग भरमिआ थिरु रहै न आवै जाइ ॥ Ih man keṯ▫ṛi▫ā jug bẖarmi▫ā thir rahai na āvai jā▫e. This mind has wandered through so many ages; it has not remained stable - it continues coming and going. ਮਃ ੩ ॥ मः ३ ॥ Mėhlā 3. Third Mehl: ਜਾ ਹਰਿ ਬਖਸੇ ਤਾ ਗੁਰ ਮਿਲੈ ਅਸਥਿਰੁ ਰਹੈ ਸਮਾਇ ॥ जा हरि बखसे ता गुर मिलै असथिरु रहै समाइ ॥ Jā har bakẖse ṯā gur milai asthir rahai samā▫e. When the Lord forgives, then one meets the Guru, and becoming stable, he remains absorbed in the Lord. ਹਰਿ ਭਾਣਾ ਤਾ ਭਰਮਾਇਅਨੁ ਕਰਿ ਪਰਪੰਚੁ ਖੇਲੁ ਉਪਾਇ ॥ हरि भाणा ता भरमाइअनु करि परपंचु खेलु उपाइ ॥ Har bẖāṇā ṯā bẖarmā▫i▫an kar parpancẖ kẖel upā▫e. When it is pleasing to the Lord's Will, then He causes the soul to wander; He has set the world-drama in motion. ਨਾਨਕ ਮਨ ਹੀ ਤੇ ਮਨੁ ਮਾਨਿਆ ਨਾ ਕਿਛੁ ਮਰੈ ਨ ਜਾਇ ॥੨॥ नानक मन ही ते मनु मानिआ ना किछु मरै न जाइ ॥२॥ Nānak man hī ṯe man māni▫ā nā kicẖẖ marai na jā▫e. ||2|| O Nanak, through the mind, the mind is satisfied, and then, nothing comes or goes. ||2|| |
