ਅੰਤਰਿ ਕਪਟੁ ਮਨਮੁਖ ਅਗਿਆਨੀ ਰਸਨਾ ਝੂਠੁ ਬੋਲਾਇ ॥ अंतरि कपटु मनमुख अगिआनी रसना झूठु बोलाइ ॥ Anṯar kapat manmukẖ agi▫ānī rasnā jẖūṯẖ bolā▫e. Within the ignorant self-willed manmukh is deception; with his tongue, he speaks lies. ਮਃ ੩ ॥ मः ३ ॥ Mėhlā 3. Third Mehl: ਦੂਜੈ ਭਾਇ ਜਾਇ ਜਗੁ ਪਰਬੋਧੈ ਬਿਖੁ ਮਾਇਆ ਮੋਹ ਸੁਆਇ ॥ दूजै भाइ जाइ जगु परबोधै बिखु माइआ मोह सुआइ ॥ Ḏūjai bẖā▫e jā▫e jag parboḏẖai bikẖ mā▫i▫ā moh su▫ā▫e. In the love of duality, he goes to instruct the world, but he is engrossed in the poison of Maya and attachment to pleasure. ਕਪਟਿ ਕੀਤੈ ਹਰਿ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਨ ਭੀਜੈ ਨਿਤ ਵੇਖੈ ਸੁਣੈ ਸੁਭਾਇ ॥ कपटि कीतै हरि पुरखु न भीजै नित वेखै सुणै सुभाइ ॥ Kapat kīṯai har purakẖ na bẖījai niṯ vekẖai suṇai subẖā▫e. Practicing deception, he does not please the Lord God, who always sees and hears with natural ease. ਇਤੁ ਕਮਾਣੈ ਸਦਾ ਦੁਖੁ ਪਾਵੈ ਜੰਮੈ ਮਰੈ ਫਿਰਿ ਆਵੈ ਜਾਇ ॥ इतु कमाणै सदा दुखु पावै जमै मरै फिरि आवै जाइ ॥ Iṯ kamāṇai saḏā ḏukẖ pāvai jammai marai fir āvai jā▫e. By doing so, he suffers in constant pain; he is born and then dies, and comes and goes again and again. ਸਹਸਾ ਮੂਲਿ ਨ ਚੁਕਈ ਵਿਚਿ ਵਿਸਟਾ ਪਚੈ ਪਚਾਇ ॥ सहसा मूलि न चुकई विचि विसटा पचै पचाइ ॥ Sahsā mūl na cẖuk▫ī vicẖ vistā pacẖai pacẖā▫e. His doubts do not leave him at all, and he rots away in manure. ਜਿਸ ਨੋ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕਰੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਤਿਸੁ ਗੁਰ ਕੀ ਸਿਖ ਸੁਣਾਇ ॥ जिस नो क्रिपा करे मेरा सुआमी तिसु गुर की सिख सुणाइ ॥ Jis no kirpā kare merā su▫āmī ṯis gur kī sikẖ suṇā▫e. One, unto whom my Lord Master shows His Mercy, listens to the Guru's Teachings. ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਵੈ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੋ ਗਾਵੈ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੋ ਅੰਤਿ ਛਡਾਇ ॥੨॥ हरि नामु धिआवै हरि नामो गावै हरि नामो अंति छडाइ ॥२॥ Har nām ḏẖi▫āvai har nāmo gāvai har nāmo anṯ cẖẖadā▫e. ||2|| He meditates on the Lord's Name, and sings the Lord's Name; in the end, the Lord's Name will deliver him. ||2||
