ਏਕੋ ਨਿਹਚਲ ਨਾਮ ਧਨੁ ਹੋਰੁ ਧਨੁ ਆਵੈ ਜਾਇ ॥ एको निहचल नाम धनु होरु धनु आवै जाइ ॥ Ėko nihcẖal nām ḏẖan hor ḏẖan āvai jā▫e. The Naam, the Name of the Lord, is the only permanent wealth; all other wealth comes and goes. ਮਃ ੩ ॥ मः ३ ॥ Mėhlā 3. Third Mehl: ਇਸੁ ਧਨ ਕਉ ਤਸਕਰੁ ਜੋਹਿ ਨ ਸਕਈ ਨਾ ਓਚਕਾ ਲੈ ਜਾਇ ॥ इसु धन कउ तसकरु जोहि न सकई ना ओचका लै जाइ ॥ Is ḏẖan ka▫o ṯaskar johi na sak▫ī nā ocẖkā lai jā▫e. Thieves cannot steal this wealth, nor can robbers take it away. ਇਹੁ ਹਰਿ ਧਨੁ ਜੀਐ ਸੇਤੀ ਰਵਿ ਰਹਿਆ ਜੀਐ ਨਾਲੇ ਜਾਇ ॥ इहु हरि धनु जीऐ सेती रवि रहिआ जीऐ नाले जाइ ॥ Ih har ḏẖan jī▫ai seṯī rav rahi▫ā jī▫ai nāle jā▫e. This wealth of the Lord is embedded in the soul, and with the soul, it shall depart. ਪੂਰੇ ਗੁਰ ਤੇ ਪਾਈਐ ਮਨਮੁਖਿ ਪਲੈ ਨ ਪਾਇ ॥ पूरे गुर ते पाईऐ मनमुखि पलै न पाइ ॥ Pūre gur ṯe pā▫ī▫ai manmukẖ palai na pā▫e. It is obtained from the Perfect Guru; the self-willed manmukhs do not receive it. ਧਨੁ ਵਾਪਾਰੀ ਨਾਨਕਾ ਜਿਨ੍ਹ੍ਹਾ ਨਾਮ ਧਨੁ ਖਟਿਆ ਆਇ ॥੨॥ धनु वापारी नानका जिन्हा नाम धनु खटिआ आइ ॥२॥ Ḏẖan vāpārī nānkā jinĥā nām ḏẖan kẖati▫ā ā▫e. ||2|| Blessed are the traders, O Nanak, who have come to earn the wealth of the Naam. ||2||
