ਸਚਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਈਐ ਸਭੋ ਵਰਤੈ ਸਚੁ ॥ सचा नामु धिआईऐ सभो वरतै सचु ॥ Sacẖā nām ḏẖi▫ā▫ī▫ai sabẖo varṯai sacẖ. Meditate on the True Name; the True Lord is pervading everywhere. ਮਃ ੩ ॥ मः ३ ॥ Mėhlā 3. Third Mehl: ਕਥਨੀ ਬਦਨੀ ਕਰਤਾ ਫਿਰੈ ਹੁਕਮੈ ਮੂਲਿ ਨ ਬੁਝਈ ਅੰਧਾ ਕਚੁ ਨਿਕਚੁ ॥੨॥ कथनी बदनी करता फिरै हुकमै मूलि न बुझई अंधा कचु निकचु ॥२॥ Kathnī baḏnī karṯā firai hukmai mūl na bujẖ▫ī anḏẖā kacẖ nikacẖ. ||2|| He wanders around babbling and speaking, but he does not understand the Lord's Command at all. He is blind, the falsest of the false. ||2|| ਨਾਨਕ ਹੁਕਮੁ ਬੁਝਿ ਪਰਵਾਣੁ ਹੋਇ ਤਾ ਫਲੁ ਪਾਵੈ ਸਚੁ ॥ नानक हुकमु बुझि परवाणु होइ ता फलु पावै सचु ॥ Nānak hukam bujẖ parvāṇ ho▫e ṯā fal pāvai sacẖ. O Nanak, by understanding the Hukam of the Lord's Command, one becomes acceptable, and then obtains the fruit of Truth. ਸੰਜੋਗੁ ਵਿਜੋਗੁ ਉਪਾਇਓਨੁ ਸ੍ਰਿਸਟੀ ਕਾ ਮੂਲੁ ਰਚਾਇਆ ॥ संजोगु विजोगु उपाइओनु स्रिसटी का मूलु रचाइआ ॥ Sanjog vijog upā▫i▫on saristī kā mūl racẖā▫i▫ā. Creating union and separation, He laid the foundations of the Universe. ਹੁਕਮੀ ਸ੍ਰਿਸਟਿ ਸਾਜੀਅਨੁ ਜੋਤੀ ਜੋਤਿ ਮਿਲਾਇਆ ॥ हुकमी स्रिसटि साजीअनु जोती जोति मिलाइआ ॥ Hukmī sarisat sājī▫an joṯī joṯ milā▫i▫ā. By His Command, the Lord of Light fashioned the Universe, and infused His Divine Light into it.
