ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਸਖੀ ਸਹੇਲੀ ਮੇਰੀ ਮੋ ਕਉ ਦੇਵਹੁ ਦਾਨੁ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਜੀਵਾਇਆ ॥ गुरमुखि सखी सहेली मेरी मो कउ देवहु दानु हरि प्रान जीवाइआ ॥ Gurmukẖ sakẖī sahelī merī mo ka▫o ḏevhu ḏān har parān jīvā▫i▫ā. O Gurmukhs, O my friends and companions, give me the gift of the Lord's Name, the life of my very life. ਗੂਜਰੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੪ ॥ गूजरी महला ४ ॥ Gūjrī mėhlā 4. Goojaree, Fourth Mehl: ਹਮ ਹੋਵਹ ਲਾਲੇ ਗੋਲੇ ਗੁਰਸਿਖਾ ਕੇ ਜਿਨ੍ਹ੍ਹਾ ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਧਿਆਇਆ ॥੧॥ हम होवह लाले गोले गुरसिखा के जिन्हा अनदिनु हरि प्रभु पुरखु धिआइआ ॥१॥ Ham hovah lāle gole gursikẖā ke jinĥā an▫ḏin har parabẖ purakẖ ḏẖi▫ā▫i▫ā. ||1|| I am the slave, the servant of the Guru's Sikhs, who meditate on the Lord God, the Primal Being, night and day. ||1|| ਮੇਰੈ ਮਨਿ ਤਨਿ ਬਿਰਹੁ ਗੁਰਸਿਖ ਪਗ ਲਾਇਆ ॥ मेरै मनि तनि बिरहु गुरसिख पग लाइआ ॥ Merai man ṯan birahu gursikẖ pag lā▫i▫ā. Within my mind and body, I have enshrined love for the feet of the Guru's Sikhs. ਮੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਸਖਾ ਗੁਰ ਕੇ ਸਿਖ ਭਾਈ ਮੋ ਕਉ ਕਰਹੁ ਉਪਦੇਸੁ ਹਰਿ ਮਿਲੈ ਮਿਲਾਇਆ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ मेरे प्रान सखा गुर के सिख भाई मो कउ करहु उपदेसु हरि मिलै मिलाइआ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Mere parān sakẖā gur ke sikẖ bẖā▫ī mo ka▫o karahu upḏes har milai milā▫i▫ā. ||1|| rahā▫o. O my life-mates, O Sikhs of the Guru, O Siblings of Destiny, instruct me in the Teachings, that I might merge in the Lord's Merger. ||1||Pause|| ਜਾ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਭਾਵੈ ਤਾ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਮੇਲੇ ਜਿਨ੍ਹ੍ਹ ਵਚਨ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਮਨਿ ਭਾਇਆ ॥ जा हरि प्रभ भावै ता गुरमुखि मेले जिन्ह वचन गुरू सतिगुर मनि भाइआ ॥ Jā har parabẖ bẖāvai ṯā gurmukẖ mele jinĥ vacẖan gurū saṯgur man bẖā▫i▫ā. When it pleases the Lord God, he causes us to meet the Gurmukhs; the Hymns of the Guru, the True Guru, are very sweet to their minds. ਵਡਭਾਗੀ ਗੁਰ ਕੇ ਸਿਖ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਹਰਿ ਨਿਰਬਾਣੀ ਨਿਰਬਾਣ ਪਦੁ ਪਾਇਆ ॥੨॥ वडभागी गुर के सिख पिआरे हरि निरबाणी निरबाण पदु पाइआ ॥२॥ vadbẖāgī gur ke sikẖ pi▫āre har nirbāṇī nirbāṇ paḏ pā▫i▫ā. ||2|| Very fortunate are the beloved Sikhs of the Guru; through the Lord, they attain the supreme state of Nirvaanaa. ||2|| ਸਤਸੰਗਤਿ ਗੁਰ ਕੀ ਹਰਿ ਪਿਆਰੀ ਜਿਨ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਮੀਠਾ ਮਨਿ ਭਾਇਆ ॥ सतसंगति गुर की हरि पिआरी जिन हरि हरि नामु मीठा मनि भाइआ ॥ Saṯsangaṯ gur kī har pi▫ārī jin har har nām mīṯẖā man bẖā▫i▫ā. The Sat Sangat, the True Congregation of the Guru, is loved by the Lord. The Naam, the Name of the Lord, Har, Har, is sweet and pleasing to their minds. ਜਿਨ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਸੰਗੁ ਨ ਪਾਇਆ ਸੇ ਭਾਗਹੀਣ ਪਾਪੀ ਜਮਿ ਖਾਇਆ ॥੩॥ जिन सतिगुर संगति संगु न पाइआ से भागहीण पापी जमि खाइआ ॥३॥ Jin saṯgur sangaṯ sang na pā▫i▫ā se bẖāghīṇ pāpī jam kẖā▫i▫ā. ||3|| One who does not obtain the Association of the True Guru, is a most unfortunate sinner; he is consumed by the Messenger of Death. ||3|| ਆਪਿ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਲੁ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਧਾਰੇ ਹਰਿ ਆਪੇ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਮਿਲੈ ਮਿਲਾਇਆ ॥ आपि क्रिपालु क्रिपा प्रभु धारे हरि आपे गुरमुखि मिलै मिलाइआ ॥ Āp kirpāl kirpā parabẖ ḏẖāre har āpe gurmukẖ milai milā▫i▫ā. If God, the Kind Master, Himself shows His kindness, then the Lord causes the Gurmukh to merge into Himself. ਜਨੁ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਬੋਲੇ ਗੁਣ ਬਾਣੀ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮਿ ਸਮਾਇਆ ॥੪॥੫॥ जनु नानकु बोले गुण बाणी गुरबाणी हरि नामि समाइआ ॥४॥५॥ Jan Nānak bole guṇ baṇī gurbāṇī har nām samā▫i▫ā. ||4||5|| Servant Nanak chants the Glorious Words of the Guru's Bani; through them, one is absorbed into the Naam, the Name of the Lord. ||4||5|| ਗੂਜਰੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੪ ॥ गूजरी महला ४ ॥ Gūjrī mėhlā 4.
