ਪਉੜੀ ॥ पउड़ी ॥ Pa▫oṛee. Pauree: ਕਪੜੁ ਰੂਪੁ ਸੁਹਾਵਣਾ ਛਡਿ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਅੰਦਰਿ ਜਾਵਣਾ ॥ कपड़ु रूपु सुहावणा छडि दुनीआ अंदरि जावणा ॥ Kapaṛ roop suhaavaṇaa chʰad ḋunee▫aa anḋar jaavṇaa. Abandoning the world of beauty, and beautiful clothes, one must depart. ਮੰਦਾ ਚੰਗਾ ਆਪਣਾ ਆਪੇ ਹੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਪਾਵਣਾ ॥ मंदा चंगा आपणा आपे ही कीता पावणा ॥ Manḋaa changa aapṇaa aapé hee keeṫaa paavṇaa. He obtains the rewards of his good and bad deeds. ਹੁਕਮ ਕੀਏ ਮਨਿ ਭਾਵਦੇ ਰਾਹਿ ਭੀੜੈ ਅਗੈ ਜਾਵਣਾ ॥ हुकम कीए मनि भावदे राहि भीड़ै अगै जावणा ॥ Hukam kee▫é man bʰaavḋé raahi bʰeeṛæ agæ jaavṇaa. He may issue whatever commands he wishes, but he shall have to take to the narrow path hereafter. ਨੰਗਾ ਦੋਜਕਿ ਚਾਲਿਆ ਤਾ ਦਿਸੈ ਖਰਾ ਡਰਾਵਣਾ ॥ नंगा दोजकि चालिआ ता दिसै खरा डरावणा ॥ Nangaa ḋojak chaali▫aa ṫaa ḋisæ kʰaraa daraavaṇaa. He goes to hell naked, and he looks hideous then. ਕਰਿ ਅਉਗਣ ਪਛੋਤਾਵਣਾ ॥੧੪॥ करि अउगण पछोतावणा ॥१४॥ Kar a▫ugaṇ pachʰoṫaavaṇaa. ||14|| He regrets the sins he committed. ||14||
