ਪਉੜੀ ॥ पउड़ी ॥ Pa▫oṛī. Pauree: ਕਪੜੁ ਰੂਪੁ ਸੁਹਾਵਣਾ ਛਡਿ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਅੰਦਰਿ ਜਾਵਣਾ ॥ कपड़ु रूपु सुहावणा छडि दुनीआ अंदरि जावणा ॥ Kapaṛ rūp suhāvaṇā cẖẖad ḏunī▫ā anḏar jāvṇā. Abandoning the world of beauty, and beautiful clothes, one must depart. ਹੁਕਮ ਕੀਏ ਮਨਿ ਭਾਵਦੇ ਰਾਹਿ ਭੀੜੈ ਅਗੈ ਜਾਵਣਾ ॥ हुकम कीए मनि भावदे राहि भीड़ै अगै जावणा ॥ Hukam kī▫e man bẖāvḏe rāhi bẖīṛai agai jāvṇā. He may issue whatever commands he wishes, but he shall have to take to the narrow path hereafter. ਮੰਦਾ ਚੰਗਾ ਆਪਣਾ ਆਪੇ ਹੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਪਾਵਣਾ ॥ मंदा चंगा आपणा आपे ही कीता पावणा ॥ Manḏā cẖanga āpṇā āpe hī kīṯā pāvṇā. He obtains the rewards of his good and bad deeds. ਨੰਗਾ ਦੋਜਕਿ ਚਾਲਿਆ ਤਾ ਦਿਸੈ ਖਰਾ ਡਰਾਵਣਾ ॥ नंगा दोजकि चालिआ ता दिसै खरा डरावणा ॥ Nangā ḏojak cẖāli▫ā ṯā ḏisai kẖarā darāvaṇā. He goes to hell naked, and he looks hideous then. ਕਰਿ ਅਉਗਣ ਪਛੋਤਾਵਣਾ ॥੧੪॥ करि अउगण पछोतावणा ॥१४॥ Kar a▫ugaṇ pacẖẖoṯāvaṇā. ||14|| He regrets the sins he committed. ||14||
