ਪੜਿਆ ਹੋਵੈ ਗੁਨਹਗਾਰੁ ਤਾ ਓਮੀ ਸਾਧੁ ਨ ਮਾਰੀਐ ॥ पड़िआ होवै गुनहगारु ता ओमी साधु न मारीऐ ॥ Paṛi▫ā hovai gunahgār ṯā omī sāḏẖ na mārī▫ai. If an educated person is a sinner, then the illiterate holy man is not to be punished. ਪਉੜੀ ॥ पउड़ी ॥ Pa▫oṛī. Pauree: ਐਸੀ ਕਲਾ ਨ ਖੇਡੀਐ ਜਿਤੁ ਦਰਗਹ ਗਇਆ ਹਾਰੀਐ ॥ ऐसी कला न खेडीऐ जितु दरगह गइआ हारीऐ ॥ Aisī kalā na kẖedī▫ai jiṯ ḏargėh ga▫i▫ā hārī▫ai. So do not play such a game, which will bring you to ruin at the Court of the Lord. ਜੇਹਾ ਘਾਲੇ ਘਾਲਣਾ ਤੇਵੇਹੋ ਨਾਉ ਪਚਾਰੀਐ ॥ जेहा घाले घालणा तेवेहो नाउ पचारीऐ ॥ Jehā gẖāle gẖālṇā ṯeveho nā▫o pacẖārī▫ai. As are the deeds done, so is the reputation one acquires. ਪੜਿਆ ਅਤੈ ਓਮੀਆ ਵੀਚਾਰੁ ਅਗੈ ਵੀਚਾਰੀਐ ॥ पड़िआ अतै ओमीआ वीचारु अगै वीचारीऐ ॥ Paṛi▫ā aṯai omī▫ā vīcẖār agai vīcẖārī▫ai. The accounts of the educated and the illiterate shall be judged in the world hereafter. ਮੁਹਿ ਚਲੈ ਸੁ ਅਗੈ ਮਾਰੀਐ ॥੧੨॥ मुहि चलै सु अगै मारीऐ ॥१२॥ Muhi cẖalai so agai mārī▫ai. ||12|| One who stubbornly follows his own mind shall suffer in the world hereafter. ||12||
