ਸਚਿ ਰਤੀਆ ਸੋਹਾਗਣੀ ਜਿਨਾ ਗੁਰ ਕੈ ਸਬਦਿ ਸੀਗਾਰਿ ॥

ਸਚਿ ਰਤੀਆ ਸੋਹਾਗਣੀ ਜਿਨਾ ਗੁਰ ਕੈ ਸਬਦਿ ਸੀਗਾਰਿ
सचि रतीआ सोहागणी जिना गुर कै सबदि सीगारि ॥
Sacẖ raṯī▫ā sohāgaṇī jinā gur kai sabaḏ sīgār.
The happy soul-brides are imbued with Truth; they are adorned with the Word of the Guru's Shabad.

ਆਸਾ ਮਹਲਾ
आसा महला ३ ॥
Āsā mėhlā 3.
Aasaa, Third Mehl:

ਅਵਗਣ ਗੁਣੀ ਬਖਸਾਇਆ ਹਰਿ ਸਿਉ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਈ
अवगण गुणी बखसाइआ हरि सिउ लिव लाई ॥
Avgaṇ guṇī bakẖsā▫i▫ā har si▫o liv lā▫ī.
Through merits, their demerits are forgiven, and they embrace love for the Lord.

ਘਰ ਹੀ ਸੋ ਪਿਰੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਸਚੈ ਸਬਦਿ ਵੀਚਾਰਿ ॥੧॥
घर ही सो पिरु पाइआ सचै सबदि वीचारि ॥१॥
Gẖar hī so pir pā▫i▫ā sacẖai sabaḏ vīcẖār. ||1||
They find their Husband Lord within their own home, contemplating the True Word of the Shabad. ||1||

ਹਰਿ ਵਰੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਕਾਮਣੀ ਗੁਰਿ ਮੇਲਿ ਮਿਲਾਈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ
हरि वरु पाइआ कामणी गुरि मेलि मिलाई ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Har var pā▫i▫ā kāmṇī gur mel milā▫ī. ||1|| rahā▫o.
The soul-bride then obtains the Lord as her Husband; meeting the Guru, this union comes about. ||1||Pause||

ਇਕਿ ਪਿਰੁ ਹਦੂਰਿ ਜਾਣਨ੍ਹ੍ਹੀ ਦੂਜੈ ਭਰਮਿ ਭੁਲਾਇ
इकि पिरु हदूरि न जाणन्ही दूजै भरमि भुलाइ ॥
Ik pir haḏūr na jāṇanĥī ḏūjai bẖaram bẖulā▫e.
Some do not know the Presence of their Husband Lord; they are deluded by duality and doubt.

ਕਿਉ ਪਾਇਨ੍ਹ੍ਹਿ ਡੋਹਾਗਣੀ ਦੁਖੀ ਰੈਣਿ ਵਿਹਾਇ ॥੨॥
किउ पाइन्हि डोहागणी दुखी रैणि विहाइ ॥२॥
Ki▫o pā▫iniĥ dohāgaṇī ḏukẖī raiṇ vihā▫e. ||2||
How can the forsaken brides meet Him? Their life night passes in pain. ||2||

ਜਿਨ ਕੈ ਮਨਿ ਸਚੁ ਵਸਿਆ ਸਚੀ ਕਾਰ ਕਮਾਇ
जिन कै मनि सचु वसिआ सची कार कमाइ ॥
Jin kai man sacẖ vasi▫ā sacẖī kār kamā▫e.
Those whose minds are filled with the True Lord, perform truthful actions.

ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਸੇਵਹਿ ਸਹਜ ਸਿਉ ਸਚੇ ਮਾਹਿ ਸਮਾਇ ॥੩॥
अनदिनु सेवहि सहज सिउ सचे माहि समाइ ॥३॥
An▫ḏin sevėh sahj si▫o sacẖe māhi samā▫e. ||3||
Night and day, they serve the Lord with poise, and are absorbed in the True Lord. ||3||

ਦੋਹਾਗਣੀ ਭਰਮਿ ਭੁਲਾਈਆ ਕੂੜੁ ਬੋਲਿ ਬਿਖੁ ਖਾਹਿ
दोहागणी भरमि भुलाईआ कूड़ु बोलि बिखु खाहि ॥
Ḏuhāgaṇī bẖaram bẖulā▫ī▫ā kūṛ bol bikẖ kẖāhi.
The forsaken brides wander around, deluded by doubt; telling lies, they eat poison.

ਪਿਰੁ ਜਾਣਨਿ ਆਪਣਾ ਸੁੰਞੀ ਸੇਜ ਦੁਖੁ ਪਾਹਿ ॥੪॥
पिरु न जाणनि आपणा सुंञी सेज दुखु पाहि ॥४॥
Pir na jāṇan āpṇā suñī sej ḏukẖ pāhi. ||4||
They do not know their Husband Lord, and upon their deserted bed, they suffer in misery. ||4||

ਸਚਾ ਸਾਹਿਬੁ ਏਕੁ ਹੈ ਮਤੁ ਮਨ ਭਰਮਿ ਭੁਲਾਹਿ
सचा साहिबु एकु है मतु मन भरमि भुलाहि ॥
Sacẖā sāhib ek hai maṯ man bẖaram bẖulāhi.
The True Lord is the One and only; do not be deluded by doubt, O my mind.

ਗੁਰ ਪੂਛਿ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਹਿ ਸਚੁ ਨਿਰਮਲੁ ਮੰਨਿ ਵਸਾਹਿ ॥੫॥
गुर पूछि सेवा करहि सचु निरमलु मंनि वसाहि ॥५॥
Gur pūcẖẖ sevā karahi sacẖ nirmal man vasāhi. ||5||
Consult with the Guru, serve the True Lord, and enshrine the Immaculate Truth within your mind. ||5||

ਸੋਹਾਗਣੀ ਸਦਾ ਪਿਰੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਹਉਮੈ ਆਪੁ ਗਵਾਇ
सोहागणी सदा पिरु पाइआ हउमै आपु गवाइ ॥
Sohāgaṇī saḏā pir pā▫i▫ā ha▫umai āp gavā▫e.
The happy soul-bride always finds her Husband Lord; she banishes egotism and self-conceit.

ਪਿਰ ਸੇਤੀ ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਗਹਿ ਰਹੀ ਸਚੀ ਸੇਜ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਇ ॥੬॥
पिर सेती अनदिनु गहि रही सची सेज सुखु पाइ ॥६॥
Pir seṯī an▫ḏin gėh rahī sacẖī sej sukẖ pā▫e. ||6||
She remains attached to her Husband Lord, night and day, and she finds peace upon His Bed of Truth. ||6||

ਮੇਰੀ ਮੇਰੀ ਕਰਿ ਗਏ ਪਲੈ ਕਿਛੁ ਪਾਇ
मेरी मेरी करि गए पलै किछु न पाइ ॥
Merī merī kar ga▫e palai kicẖẖ na pā▫e.
Those who shouted, "Mine, mine!" have departed, without obtaining anything.

ਮਹਲੁ ਨਾਹੀ ਡੋਹਾਗਣੀ ਅੰਤਿ ਗਈ ਪਛੁਤਾਇ ॥੭॥
महलु नाही डोहागणी अंति गई पछुताइ ॥७॥
Mahal nāhī dohāgaṇī anṯ ga▫ī pacẖẖuṯā▫e. ||7||
The separated one does not obtain the Mansion of the Lord's Presence, and departs, repenting in the end. ||7||

ਸੋ ਪਿਰੁ ਮੇਰਾ ਏਕੁ ਹੈ ਏਕਸੁ ਸਿਉ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਇ
सो पिरु मेरा एकु है एकसु सिउ लिव लाइ ॥
So pir merā ek hai ekas si▫o liv lā▫e.
That Husband Lord of mine is the One and only; I am in love with the One alone.

ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਜਿਨ੍ਹ੍ਹਾ ਚਖਾਇਓਨੁ ਰਸੁ ਆਇਆ ਸਹਜਿ ਸੁਭਾਇ
अम्रितु जिन्हा चखाइओनु रसु आइआ सहजि सुभाइ ॥
Amriṯ jinĥā cẖẖakẖā▫i▫on ras ā▫i▫ā sahj subẖā▫e.
Those whom the Lord has caused to drink in the Ambrosial Nectar, naturally, intuitively, enjoy the sublime essence.

ਨਾਨਕ ਜੇ ਸੁਖੁ ਲੋੜਹਿ ਕਾਮਣੀ ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਮੰਨਿ ਵਸਾਇ ॥੮॥੧੧॥੩੩॥
नानक जे सुखु लोड़हि कामणी हरि का नामु मंनि वसाइ ॥८॥११॥३३॥
Nānak je sukẖ loṛėh kāmṇī har kā nām man vasā▫e. ||8||11||33||
O Nanak, if the soul-bride longs for peace, she should enshrine the Lord's Name within her mind. ||8||11||33||
