ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਜਿਨ੍ਹ੍ਹਾ ਚਖਾਇਓਨੁ ਰਸੁ ਆਇਆ ਸਹਜਿ ਸੁਭਾਇ ॥

ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਜਿਨ੍ਹ੍ਹਾ ਚਖਾਇਓਨੁ ਰਸੁ ਆਇਆ ਸਹਜਿ ਸੁਭਾਇ
अम्रितु जिन्हा चखाइओनु रसु आइआ सहजि सुभाइ ॥
Amriṯ jinĥā cẖẖakẖā▫i▫on ras ā▫i▫ā sahj subẖā▫e.
Those whom the Lord has caused to drink in the Ambrosial Nectar, naturally, intuitively, enjoy the sublime essence.

ਆਸਾ ਮਹਲਾ
आसा महला ३ ॥
Āsā mėhlā 3.
Aasaa, Third Mehl:

ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਸਚਾ ਵਰਸਦਾ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਾ ਮੁਖਿ ਪਾਇ
अम्रितु सचा वरसदा गुरमुखा मुखि पाइ ॥
Amriṯ sacẖā varasḏā gurmukẖā mukẖ pā▫e.
The True Ambrosial Nectar rains down, and trickles into the mouths of the Gurmukhs.

ਸਚਾ ਵੇਪਰਵਾਹੁ ਹੈ ਤਿਸ ਨੋ ਤਿਲੁ ਤਮਾਇ ॥੧॥
सचा वेपरवाहु है तिस नो तिलु न तमाइ ॥१॥
Sacẖā veparvāhu hai ṯis no ṯil na ṯamā▫e. ||1||
The True Lord is care-free; he does not have even an iota of greed. ||1||

ਮਨੁ ਸਦਾ ਹਰੀਆਵਲਾ ਸਹਜੇ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ
मनु सदा हरीआवला सहजे हरि गुण गाइ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Man saḏā harī▫āvlā sėhje har guṇ gā▫e. ||1|| rahā▫o.
Their minds are forever rejuvenated, and they naturally, intuitively, sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord. ||1||Pause||

ਮਨਮੁਖਿ ਸਦਾ ਦੋਹਾਗਣੀ ਦਰਿ ਖੜੀਆ ਬਿਲਲਾਹਿ
मनमुखि सदा दोहागणी दरि खड़ीआ बिललाहि ॥
Manmukẖ saḏā ḏuhāgaṇī ḏar kẖaṛī▫ā billāhi.
The self-willed manmukhs are forever forsaken brides; they cry out and bewail at the Lord's Gate.

ਜਿਨ੍ਹ੍ਹਾ ਪਿਰ ਕਾ ਸੁਆਦੁ ਆਇਓ ਜੋ ਧੁਰਿ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਸੋੁ ਕਮਾਹਿ ॥੨॥
जिन्हा पिर का सुआदु न आइओ जो धुरि लिखिआ सो कमाहि ॥२॥
Jinĥā pir kā su▫āḏ na ā▫i▫o jo ḏẖur likẖi▫ā so kamāhi. ||2||
Those who do not enjoy the sublime taste of their Husband Lord, act according to their pre-ordained destiny. ||2||

ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਬੀਜੇ ਸਚੁ ਜਮੈ ਸਚੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਵਾਪਾਰੁ
गुरमुखि बीजे सचु जमै सचु नामु वापारु ॥
Gurmukẖ bīje sacẖ jamai sacẖ nām vāpār.
The Gurmukh plants the seed of the True Name, and it sprouts. He deals in the True Name alone.

ਜੋ ਇਤੁ ਲਾਹੈ ਲਾਇਅਨੁ ਭਗਤੀ ਦੇਇ ਭੰਡਾਰ ॥੩॥
जो इतु लाहै लाइअनु भगती देइ भंडार ॥३॥
Jo iṯ lāhai lā▫i▫an bẖagṯī ḏe▫e bẖandār. ||3||
Those whom the Lord has attached to this profitable venture, are granted the treasure of devotional worship. ||3||

ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਸਦਾ ਸੋਹਾਗਣੀ ਭੈ ਭਗਤਿ ਸੀਗਾਰਿ
गुरमुखि सदा सोहागणी भै भगति सीगारि ॥
Gurmukẖ saḏā sohāgaṇī bẖai bẖagaṯ sīgār.
The Gurmukh is forever the true, happy soul-bride; she adorns herself with the fear of God and devotion to Him.

ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਰਾਵਹਿ ਪਿਰੁ ਆਪਣਾ ਸਚੁ ਰਖਹਿ ਉਰ ਧਾਰਿ ॥੪॥
अनदिनु रावहि पिरु आपणा सचु रखहि उर धारि ॥४॥
An▫ḏin rāvėh pir āpṇā sacẖ rakẖėh ur ḏẖār. ||4||
Night and day, she enjoys her Husband Lord; she keeps Truth enshrined within her heart. ||4||

ਜਿਨ੍ਹ੍ਹਾ ਪਿਰੁ ਰਾਵਿਆ ਆਪਣਾ ਤਿਨ੍ਹ੍ਹਾ ਵਿਟਹੁ ਬਲਿ ਜਾਉ
जिन्हा पिरु राविआ आपणा तिन्हा विटहु बलि जाउ ॥
Jinĥā pir rāvi▫ā āpṇā ṯinĥā vitahu bal jā▫o.
I am a sacrifice to those who have enjoyed their Husband Lord.

ਸਦਾ ਪਿਰ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਰਹਹਿ ਵਿਚਹੁ ਆਪੁ ਗਵਾਇ ॥੫॥
सदा पिर कै संगि रहहि विचहु आपु गवाइ ॥५॥
Saḏā pir kai sang rahėh vicẖahu āp gavā▫e. ||5||
They dwell forever with their Husband Lord; they eradicate self-conceit from within. ||5||

ਤਨੁ ਮਨੁ ਸੀਤਲੁ ਮੁਖ ਉਜਲੇ ਪਿਰ ਕੈ ਭਾਇ ਪਿਆਰਿ
तनु मनु सीतलु मुख उजले पिर कै भाइ पिआरि ॥
Ŧan man sīṯal mukẖ ujle pir kai bẖā▫e pi▫ār.
Their bodies and minds are cooled and soothed, and their faces are radiant, from the love and affection of their Husband Lord.

ਸੇਜ ਸੁਖਾਲੀ ਪਿਰੁ ਰਵੈ ਹਉਮੈ ਤ੍ਰਿਸਨਾ ਮਾਰਿ ॥੬॥
सेज सुखाली पिरु रवै हउमै त्रिसना मारि ॥६॥
Sej sukẖālī pir ravai ha▫umai ṯarisnā mār. ||6||
They enjoy their Husband Lord upon His cozy bed, having conquered their ego and desire. ||6||

ਵਰੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਸੋਹਾਗਣੀ ਕੇਵਲ ਏਕੁ ਮੁਰਾਰਿ ॥੭॥
वरु पाइआ सोहागणी केवल एकु मुरारि ॥७॥
var pā▫i▫ā sohāgaṇī keval ek murār. ||7||
The happy soul-bride obtains the One Lord as her Husband. ||7||

ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਘਰਿ ਆਇਆ ਗੁਰ ਕੈ ਹੇਤਿ ਅਪਾਰਿ
करि किरपा घरि आइआ गुर कै हेति अपारि ॥
Kar kirpā gẖar ā▫i▫ā gur kai heṯ apār.
Granting His Grace, He comes into our homes, through our infinite Love for the Guru.

ਸਭੇ ਗੁਨਹ ਬਖਸਾਇ ਲਇਓਨੁ ਮੇਲੇ ਮੇਲਣਹਾਰਿ
सभे गुनह बखसाइ लइओनु मेले मेलणहारि ॥
Sabẖe gunah bakẖsā▫e la▫i▫on mele melaṇhār.
All of her sins are forgiven; the Uniter unites her with Himself.

ਨਾਨਕ ਆਖਣੁ ਆਖੀਐ ਜੇ ਸੁਣਿ ਧਰੇ ਪਿਆਰੁ ॥੮॥੧੨॥੩੪॥
नानक आखणु आखीऐ जे सुणि धरे पिआरु ॥८॥१२॥३४॥
Nānak ākẖaṇ ākẖī▫ai je suṇ ḏẖare pi▫ār. ||8||12||34||
O Nanak, chant such chants, that hearing them, He may enshrine love for you. ||8||12||34||
