ਸੋਇ ਰਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਖਬਰਿ ਨ ਜਾਨੀ ॥ सोइ रही प्रभ खबरि न जानी ॥ So▫e rahī parabẖ kẖabar na jānī. She remains asleep, and does not know the news of God. ਆਸਾ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ आसा महला ५ ॥ Āsā mėhlā 5. Aasaa, Fifth Mehl: ਭੋਰੁ ਭਇਆ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਪਛੁਤਾਨੀ ॥੧॥ भोरु भइआ बहुरि पछुतानी ॥१॥ Bẖor bẖa▫i▫ā bahur pacẖẖuṯānī. ||1|| The day dawns, and then, she regrets. ||1|| ਪ੍ਰਿਅ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਸਹਜਿ ਮਨਿ ਅਨਦੁ ਧਰਉ ਰੀ ॥ प्रिअ प्रेम सहजि मनि अनदु धरउ री ॥ Pari▫a parem sahj man anaḏ ḏẖara▫o rī. Loving the Beloved, the mind is filled with celestial bliss. ਪ੍ਰਭ ਮਿਲਬੇ ਕੀ ਲਾਲਸਾ ਤਾ ਤੇ ਆਲਸੁ ਕਹਾ ਕਰਉ ਰੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ प्रभ मिलबे की लालसा ता ते आलसु कहा करउ री ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Parabẖ milbe kī lālsā ṯā ṯe ālas kahā kara▫o rī. ||1|| rahā▫o. You yearn to meet with God, so why do you delay? ||1||Pause|| ਕਰ ਮਹਿ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਆਣਿ ਨਿਸਾਰਿਓ ॥ कर महि अम्रितु आणि निसारिओ ॥ Kar mėh amriṯ āṇ nisāri▫o. He came and poured His Ambrosial Nectar into your hands, ਖਿਸਰਿ ਗਇਓ ਭੂਮ ਪਰਿ ਡਾਰਿਓ ॥੨॥ खिसरि गइओ भूम परि डारिओ ॥२॥ Kẖisar ga▫i▫o bẖūm par ḏāri▫o. ||2|| but it slipped through your fingers, and fell onto the ground. ||2|| ਸਾਦਿ ਮੋਹਿ ਲਾਦੀ ਅਹੰਕਾਰੇ ॥ सादि मोहि लादी अहंकारे ॥ Sāḏ mohi lāḏī ahaʼnkāre. You are burdened with desire, emotional attachment and egotism; ਦੋਸੁ ਨਾਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕਰਣੈਹਾਰੇ ॥੩॥ दोसु नाही प्रभ करणैहारे ॥३॥ Ḏos nāhī parabẖ karṇaihāre. ||3|| it is not the fault of God the Creator. ||3||
