ਮਃ ੫ ॥ मः ५ ॥ Mėhlā 5. Fifth Mehl: ਦਾਮਨੀ ਚਮਤਕਾਰ ਤਿਉ ਵਰਤਾਰਾ ਜਗ ਖੇ ॥ दामनी चमतकार तिउ वरतारा जग खे ॥ Ḏāmnī cẖamaṯkār ṯi▫o varṯārā jag kẖe. Like the flash of lightning, worldly affairs last only for a moment. ਵਥੁ ਸੁਹਾਵੀ ਸਾਇ ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਉ ਜਪੰਦੋ ਤਿਸੁ ਧਣੀ ॥੨॥ वथु सुहावी साइ नानक नाउ जपंदो तिसु धणी ॥२॥ vath suhāvī sā▫e Nānak nā▫o japanḏo ṯis ḏẖaṇī. ||2|| The only thing which is pleasing, O Nanak, is that which inspires one to meditate on the Name of the Master. ||2||
