ਮਾਇਆਧਾਰੀ ਅਤਿ ਅੰਨਾ ਬੋਲਾ ॥ माइआधारी अति अंना बोला ॥ Mā▫i▫āḏẖārī aṯ annā bolā. One who is attached to Maya is totally blind and deaf. ਮਃ ੩ ॥ मः ३ ॥ Mėhlā 3. Third Mehl: ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਜਾਪੈ ਸਬਦਿ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਇ ॥ गुरमुखि जापै सबदि लिव लाइ ॥ Gurmukẖ jāpai sabaḏ liv lā▫e. The Gurmukhs chant and meditate on the Shabad, and lovingly center their consciousness on it. ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਸੁਣਿ ਮੰਨੇ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮਿ ਸਮਾਇ ॥ हरि नामु सुणि मंने हरि नामि समाइ ॥ Har nām suṇ manne har nām samā▫e. They hear and believe in the Name of the Lord; they are absorbed in the Name of the Lord. ਸਬਦੁ ਨ ਸੁਣਈ ਬਹੁ ਰੋਲ ਘਚੋਲਾ ॥ सबदु न सुणई बहु रोल घचोला ॥ Sabaḏ na suṇ▫ī baho rol gẖacẖolā. He does not listen to the Word of the Shabad; he makes a great uproar and tumult. ਜੋ ਤਿਸੁ ਭਾਵੈ ਸੁ ਕਰੇ ਕਰਾਇਆ ॥ जो तिसु भावै सु करे कराइआ ॥ Jo ṯis bẖāvai so kare karā▫i▫ā. Whatever pleases God, He causes that to be done. ਨਾਨਕ ਵਜਦਾ ਜੰਤੁ ਵਜਾਇਆ ॥੨॥ नानक वजदा जंतु वजाइआ ॥२॥ Nānak vajḏā janṯ vajā▫i▫ā. ||2|| O Nanak, human beings are the instruments which vibrate as God plays them. ||2||
